I felt joe was the actual villian of the story till that piano solo at the apartment, and then it just clicked and I had a full breakdown from that point on and really had me thinking about everything ❤😢
I don't think he is the villain. Or any villain in the movie. Joe is only human, and although he was selfish and tunnel focused to get his life back, he had flaws any other person has. It was only when he went into the zone did he come to realize how narrow minded he was and changed his attitude towards life.
Apparently, according to the director, the cat will reincarnate due to them having "9 lives". So after the cat dies, he'll begin another one of his lives. Glad the cat's okay though.
😭 Im literaly so emotional, seeing both of you guys sob, and eyes all red made me cry. I felt the emotions. I really like this movie because of its message of life. ❤
This movie made me burst to tears (and enforced my belief that every living being that moves has a soul) 😇 Also the duo that made the score for the otherworldly realms (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross) worked together again for the 2023 film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem", my favorite movie of 2023 and if pay attention you can spot some similarities 😊
The movie has that smooth but fuzzy look that feel like imagination. Really cool movie, thx for reacting to it. The part where terry get distracted is funny lol.
The mentors probably didn't demean 22, that was 22's interpretation in the negative because of fear and uncertainty. Fear can cause confusion. Go back to to Joe and 22 talking on the street before Windstar arrived. Joe just stated 'That isn't a purpose, just regular old living', but in 22's memory, 22 added the words 'you idiot' when Joe never said that.
OMG HI GALAXY GEEKS I’M A HUGE FAN BY THE WAY I love your movie reactions to soul movie, I really love jazz and classical they are my favorites so far and the movie is so funny 😂 at the same time, the voice acting is incredible not going to lie, I love that line that caught me laughing so hard 🤣, I would rate it 10/10 my thoughts on the movie it’s really good, I am so sorry for not replying earlier I hope you can forgive me.

I really don't get the mom. He didn't quit his job and blindly run into a dream with no backup plan. He still has a job, he's just pursuing what will make him really happy on the side. I mean, if you have a steady job, making enough money, what's so wrong with having a nighttime jazz gig for extra money and happiness? Especially since if that goes right, it can eventually become it's own steady job, and if not, he's still got the teaching job!
I feel like that could have been a fitting end for a more adult movie about how tragically short some lives can be, while still inspiring the next generation. However, in a kid's story, a return to norm is generally the ending, and this makes a lot of sense in that context
Would've sent the wrong message. This movie is about appreciating life regardless of some greater purpose. Joe just achieved his life's purpose, so if he accepts death now it would communicate that purpose takes priority over living. The ending is straight up perfect as it is.
