- Saint Peter's traveled just 90 miles down the road to Philadelphia, where it will face No. 3 Purdue in the Sweet 16 on Friday night. The Peacocks may be the underdogs of the tournament but don't call them a cinderella team. This group knows they deserve to be on this stage.

This is so Awesome !! I grew up in Jersey City not far from St Pete’s I used to go play racquetball on campus with some friends late 70s early 80s around high school years. Then chow on Sabretts Hot Dogs from the truck in front of the college. So good. Brings back memories.

I don’t get into the NCAA tourney these days like I used too years ago unless something ignites my interest. Well a school not too far from the high school I went to in my hometown MORE than ignited that spark. Dream the Dream St. Peter’s!

They better not miss many shots with a 7'4", 300lb center on Purdue. I wouldn't bet on this game. If they can shoot around 50% and not turn it over they will have a chance, but if they go ice cold like Tennessee, they could easily get blown out. If I had to bet on this game I'd take the under, as St. Peters will try to control tempo and frustrate Purdue, which has worked so far.
