4,000 miles on our 2020 Pro XP 4 Ultimate. Our wheel bearings started popping after a few hundred miles. I ordered Kryptonite lifetime warranty bearings. When I replaced them I used Permatex high temperature sleeve retainer instead of green loctite. Haven’t had anymore popping in 3,500-ish miles. Surprised to hear about your ball joints though. Mine are still tight at 4,000 miles. Love our Pro XP. Glad I bought it instead of a CanAm.
Mine still popped with green loctite. I think they’re ok now with the Polaris hd bearings and loctite. Even the other pro xp on our channel needed ball joints pretty early.
Great video, regarding cab heat wolfsnout sells a kit to help reduce heat in the cab. I installed it and got to say it does work. I bought the kit for the tunnel and the foam pieces for under the hood. Well worth the money
By the time they had the recall and had people coming in for the inspection and possible replacement, I had been running the stm for a bit. I had a dealership tell me I could just bring the clutch in while it’s off the machine for inspection. Couple weeks later I bring it and they had changed their mind, so now it’s a paper weight.
man this sounds like such a headache. i want the fast machine but i dont think i can handle all the bs that comes with it. looks like a japanese model of some kind in my future. ill catch up eventually. hopefully without any broken parts...
Honestly I don’t remember, I ordered the aftermarket clutch a day after the stop ride. Once I had the aftermarket clutch on I didn’t pay close attention to the situation.
My opinion is yes. It seems to be a better platform, not that there’s anything wrong with the xp 1000. The pro definitely rides better and has the better laid out interior. Definitely comes down to what’s important to you.
The only issues we’ve had with the trails & rocks is the brake pressure switch going bad 3 times. It’s annoying but not major. So the trails & rocks and the 21 pro xp have both held up about the same. The 2020 pro xp being the one that’s had it’s issues, but that machine gets abused more than the other 2.
@drillsergeant623 is what it is, I said I love the machine and would do it again. Pretty sure I mentioned the other pro xp on the channel had none of the issues I did. Despite all that, I had issues and I talked about them. I don’t expect everyone to agree or like the way I do stuff, I’m cool with it.

Good stuff! Taking care of most of these things before they bug me thanks to guys like you. Dodged a bullet with the X3 😂
Thanks! I’m here to help!!

Thanks for the info. I have heard of that kit but haven’t really looked into it.
@@SomewhatHaggard I put a Wolfsnout kit in my turbo XP and it helps! I recommend them to everyone.
Definitely going to look into it one of these days!!
I noticed you guys go to Badlands in Attica,IN sometimes. Girlfriend keeps a 5th wheel there in the campground hopefully bump into you guys sometime.
Hell yeah! We haven’t been there yet this year, but it’s our most visited park. I’m sure we’ll be out there this year.
Great video man! Thanks for the honest review with great info
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
Really good honest feedback on things with your machine. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!!
With my 43k I've got into my sport model, I chose to just upgrade. I'm almost done with this money pit😅
For some reason I like your videos keep it up
Thanks! Appreciate that.
You’re not real bright
Never claimed to be

Moral or the story… Don’t buy a Can Ham, and wait for the following year’s version of a Po Po when a new model comes out. Thanks for the Video!
thanks for watching!! If ya get the first model year of anything you can usually expect issues.
I have the same model and have experienced a few of these items myself the Primary I got swapped under the do not ride order

How long did Polaris take to get the clutching fixed so people could ride

No problem!!!
thanks
It worth the wait over a new xp 1000?

This seems like a lot of problems for only 1000 miles. I’ll take a Honda or Yamaha even if they are slower.
It’s a love hate Relationship. I hate mine most of the time.
Because of issues??
Which you like best rocks and trails or pro xp
For me personally it’s definitely the pro xp!
@@SomewhatHaggard has the RT held up better up here in w. V. Thinking about trading my RT.
And has the rocks and trails held up better

@@SomewhatHaggard Thanks a lot we do alot of slow speed riding and low range really appreciate you responding. Great content
Thanks!! We definitely get jealous of the low gear in the trails & rocks. Gear reduction is something we will likely be doing on both pro xps.
Worst thing Polaris tender springs.
I think they’re just there for show haha
Polaris are not a dual rate or tender spring from factory they are a secondary spring to keep the main spring from bouncing around when at full droop
So Rzr sxs suck, that’s all you had to say.
Wasn’t the message
@@SomewhatHaggard You’re really bad at delivering a message. Js

Bearings aren’t supposed to be loctited from the factory 🤦♂️🤦♂️
It’s in the service manual
Thanks!
Thank you!!!
