    Another great video full of amazing tips. Jacques I do have a question. In the hospital room scene the ceiling seems low. Why not bounce the light from the ceiling or does it give less control? Love the video thank you!

    • @jacques_crafford
      @jacques_crafford  2 месяца назад +1

      Thanks so much Kobus, as always your support is GREATLY APPRECIATED! To answer your question.. YES, bouncing would have made it harder to control and block off light. The scrim spreads the light more naturally in the right area. If I could re-do anything I would have blocked out the outside windows with white diffusion but it was on the 3rd floor so it would have been an operation and we only had limited time at the location.

    What boom stand are you using for the table scene to mount the 120?

    • @jacques_crafford
      @jacques_crafford  2 месяца назад +1

      Not sure which scene you're referring to but I only used 2 types of stands. The Boom stands is just a Kupo Combo Boom and the rest were all C-stands. If you're referring to the scene where I bounced the 150 against the roof that was a normal C-Stand.

    • @parkercreative_au

    How long does take to change the lens and calibrate it with dji lidar? Were there any problems with it?

    • @jacques_crafford
      @jacques_crafford  2 месяца назад

      I usually calibrate everything before the shoot and save the profiles but I had one issue where I had to re-calibrate a lens on set which took about 10 mins. That's not long but it feels like forever if you're on a tight schedule. I'm a big fan of the system and I'd say we used autofocus on about 50% of the shots but the focus puller still played big part and did a great job!

    • @jacques_crafford
      @jacques_crafford  2 месяца назад

      I think it's a combination of the lighting, the DR of the FX3 & the grade. I'm honestly shattered by how much RUclips Compression is killing the quality because it looks so much better before I upload it!
