Thank you 🎉 I have 2 questions (Only supports Type-C to DisplayPort cable) 1- (dose the ace pro 2 or go pro have this feature?) Added FOV Boost Lens in system settings. Attach Osmo Action FOV Boost Lens before enabling this feature. 2- (You need to buy the new FOV Boost Lens)
Hey thank you for the watch and comment! 1 - Yes my understanding is both GP13 and AcePro2 both have usb c video out. I hooked it up to my USB -C monitor - a larger 15 inch desktop on and it worked great, but I did have to provide external power to the monitor. You just need to make sure you have a cable that can carry video signal. I am using a 4K 60hz capable usb-c to usb-c cable. 2. Yes you have to buy the lens, once you have it installed, then go into settings and click FOV Boost Lens.
Yup, I agree with their firmware updates.. helps a lot... rather than waiting and buying the next model... By the way, GoPro also have the hindsight which is like pre record.
Howdy ICE! Yea GoPro was the first to have it if I recall. I think, don't quote me, but I think we got it in the GoPro9 and and was one of the main reasons I bought it. Wild to think GoPro used to be the innovator. I mean its cool they are doing more with lenses now though, but DJI didn't take long to stand up a lens program too. I am wondering if they will give us a macro like GOPRO13 has.....then again I wonder how long we will be able to get DJI products :(
Hey HillPhantom, I appreciate your thoughts on the three cameras! Your Insta360 take was very funny 😂 I really appreciate the fact that they upped the SuperNight mode to 60FPS 👏, but doesn't work in really low light. I agree on the fisheye, doesn't seem like something I would be interested in. The Pre-roll example you gave is too funny (hahaha)....for me, not a big deal. But it's nice they have it! Great point on sharing how they are catering to the masses, I do love that about DJI and their firmware updates!
Hey Mr. USA, I need to watch you take on the US! Can you smuggle me out of here? LOL. I live in Montana its nice but things are getting......weird here..... I think thats why my video was a bit wacky dooohhhh. I do love me some DJI, hopefully we can still get stuff from them here. Else you and I are opening a smuggling ring. LOL. J/K... Safe travesl mate!
Awesome information! Maybe a more b-roll in the video while you’re mentioning a few key points will definitely keep the audience hooked to your videos longer. Cheers buddy!
@@HillPhantom absolutely! If I had to make a video like you it wont even come close to yours. But as a genuine subscriber, we would love to see you grow.
The best in keeping cameras updated? Action 4 didn't get a single update since march 24 (well there was couple minor ones). But there are still bugs needed to be fixed. They are just the same as every other company. Sell their shit, update it couple times (usually fixing things which had to work from the beginning) and then sell new shit. So they just want people to buy the same camera every damn year, even though there's almost no difference.
I disagree. As a long time DJI user who uses lots of their products for my work ( gimbals, drones, action cam ) i feel like i am beta tester every time DJI releases a new product. First few months i spend more time reporting bugs and problems with their products like i work for them. I remember that i cound not do few jobs because there were problem with gimbals and drones. Is DJI going to pay me because i lost jobs or because i've spent my time reporting bugs instead working?....of course not. They have so much money and they are NO1 by far in lots of categories but they still release products that have tons of bugs and problems. It gets on my nerves because people justify that as something " Normal". They do fix stuff with firmware updates eventually after 4-5 months, but why don't they release cameras like that right away. Hire people to test the cameras properly before the release, and then start selling product that is in good state. I wanted to switch from GoPro ( they are even worse ) to DJI Action 5 Pro for my moto channel and travel when the camera got out, but then i saw all this "reviews" buy influencers and none of them mentioned low bit rate and footage looked like crap. It still look too much artificial and bad HDR ( unless you want always shoot Log ). I know they "fixed" some stuff after new firmware because lot's of people complained. But why do we have to wait 4-5 months every time..
Might want to watch my review on the A5 fully state it, talk about the issue, and then talk about the promised update in bitrate. Two weeks later we had the update. I may have different products than you but they update more than GoPro or insta by far...but they just my experience sorry you haven't experienced same with your products :(.
Also this is third update one evert month since they launched. They wait as they are listening and responding via firmware others don't do that at all.
@@HillPhantom You are right about GoPro. I did not use Insta360 except x2 so i can't comment. GoPro is terrible with their updates and with innovation. Not to mention with reliability and their false marketing. I am amazed that they still exist. But as an professional who uses these things for work and as a general consumer i am sick of big companies that release "half product" and that is consider as normal. Before things were not like that. I do not disagree with you that they do fix things with firmware in time. My response is why do we have to wait 5-6 months? Why can't they release product that is in good state? Example with DJI Action Pro 5. How can a "new" PRO camera have worse picture than your older Action 4 camera ( wich is best buy in my opinion )?....how? Does anybody have eyes to see the obvious. How can you lower bitrate without putting any options in settings for users to choose in the first place? How can new camera has worse night performance then the old one? And the last thing that no one talks about. If you have Action 4 and Action 5...the color science is different and it is extra work in post if you want to match the footage from Action 4 and Action 5, wich is crazy to me since they have the same sensor. Nothing against you, just expressing my thoughts about how companies operate and honestly i am sick of it. Keep up the work. Cheers!
@@ayamotoadventures oh yea mate I didn't take it personal at all. I enjoy it and also learn so much more being WRONG than right. I greatly appreciate the comment and discussion! I am with you on the half upgrades and you are not wrong about the A5 being one of those. But so is the Go3 S, so is the Ace Pro 2, I can say least DJI waited a year instead of months like Insta. They all have their issues and dealing with support with all those companies I can honestly say from my view DJI does the best with customer service as well. End of day I agree, half upgrades seem to be the norm now. I wonder if they are all just struggling to figure out a 1 inch sensor or they just tying to all money grab us?
