Will you keep both the Peloton tread and the X22i? What do you think of the new X22i and commercial lines released? I recently got a Peloton tread and like it quite a bit. It’s easy to jump on and do a class. The rollers are super easy to use and very intuitive. I also like the bootcamps a lot and never did them when I had my old ancient treadmill. I have plenty of space at the end of my tread to use the screen for the bootcamps. Also love community high 5 aspect. Having said all that, it was a close call for me on which treadmill to get. I almost got the C2950 (which has now been discontinued, so maybe that was good after all not to get). I really do like ifit series and am doing club 26.2 with my iPad + Pelo tread setup. I don’t like shaking on Pelo tread and I’m having service tomorrow to see if it can be better. Ifit crashes frequently mid class and the trying to see your stats is really difficult. They seem to be getting rid of most web access, but have not been History functionality into the app! It was either use an app for Peloton workouts and fiddle around with getting my mileage for challenges (there’s a hack for that) or use ifit app to do their workouts and lose the auto adjustment stuff on their machines. I can still use auto adjust or heart rate adjust during workout in app with manual adjustment. I like to workout out with different instructors so being locked in is hard for me, but I do the challenges on ifit as long as it’s only 4-6 week commitment. I lean more to music/instructor on Peloton and have to make my own program around what is offered. That’s my rambling thoughts on peloton vs ifit Did you see SOLE just released a very tread + looking slat treadmill??
We have a peleton bike and NordicTrack with IFIT. I can say unequivocally that IFIT SUCKS! The music is just an overlay and doesn't match up to anything. The instructors simply stop walking to "talk" and the locations are scenic but ridiculous. Also, you can just find a 3 mi rule to do. The instructors run 2.3, 1.45, 2.73......why?????? I hate IFIT!!!!!!!
Got iFIT/Nordictrack 22i 3 years ago, and their running programs have changed my life. Especially, as mentioned elsewhere, following iconic iFIT trainer Tommy Rivers Puzey.
I have both ifit and peloton and this review is SPOT ON! I get bored looking at someone playing music I may or may not like. Never get tired exploring and learning about new places. Also amazing pull and play for going from never run before to marathon. Just follow the programs. The review doesn’t mention rowing - great rower content or iFit. The review doesn’t mention yoga and Pilates. iFit has some Amazing ones in fantastic locations that makes looking at yoga in studio mind numbing boring!!! That said iFit has very limited amount. The biking content outside are great. I’ve “ridden” all over the world. And learned so much and became a much better rider and runner. Peloton wins on stretching hands down. IFit is additive because of the improvement programs that progress with you. Also love not having to mess with speed and incline, I can just run and it’s controlled by iFit.
I just got my iFit Proform 205 today and I was so excited to get running and walking on it! My husband helped me put it together but it was so worth it for me in the end. The scenic views take the work out to a whole new level! Thank you for this review!
@@knd225 it’s been holding up ok but I did have a technician come and fix it due to my kids kicking a bell underneath it. Now it works fine but I have to admit, Getting a Peloton tread is desired.
@@DivineLightFitness thanks for responding. I just got my proform cc500 treadmill and it’s ok so far. I got a lil static shock on one hand rest but other than that it’s ok for now for my basic walks on it.
I have an IFIT membership and use the peloton app for strength and stretches and some of the running classes. I honestly go back and forth on which one I like more. Sometimes the series are nice, other times the one off. You can use any tread for a Peloton class.
With peloton flip flopping around as much as they have been, my ideal scenario would be iFit buys out Peloton. If I had pelotons studio classes and ifit’s scenic workouts, I would pay whatever they ask 🙏😍. I love my pelotons but if I could go back in time and do it over, I’d probably go with nordictrack.
probably unlikely... BUT it does look like Peloton is interested in having partners to stream their content to. Given iFIT is the largest manufacturer of bikes/treadmills outside of Peloton, and have the required tech, I would love to see a partnership in the future
My mom got a treadmill by IFIT (idk the model name) for her birthday last year and I do an exercise called Walking the World: Martinique. The trainer is named Alex Gregory, best one so far
I'm torn on which program I like better. So far I have no trouble paying for both (sound of knocking wood) The Peloton app is much better organized and it's easier to find things but I really enjoy the outdoor content from iFit and their studio content is equally good.
Here's what I'd like to know some months down the line from this review: If you were to review it now, has anything changed significantly enough to sway a decision one way or the other? For instance, do you see things being kept "fresh"? Having an older machine that uses iFit, the programs and such have become stale, the feedback non-existant, and finally they're removing support from it in a few months. I've seen that iFit took suggestions to heart - especially the ActivePulse, but I've got no clue whether the data has improved. Does Bowflex even enter the picture in this comparison nowadays? I also want to know about watch connectivity (Ant+) - does either platform support these devices? I'd like to keep my repository in Garmin simply because it gives me a holistic view of my health. I've got a ton of questions, but this is enough to get the ball rolling.
We just finished up the firs team Wilpers running program, something akin to his Power Zone on the bike. It was terrific, hoping for it to become a regular thing. You might have to rethink your review 🤞🏻
I use both.i lijke 1fit for walking and running. peleton has good live workout. I use a few apps for my walking it depends. aaptiv, ifit or runkeeper are the main walking apps i use
Thanks for a great comparison video … I’ve recently purchased the Nordictrack treadmill and I’ve gotta say I’m addicted to the iFIT,however I do find the video stutters for a split second fairly frequently during workouts, have you find this to be an issue at all while using the X22i ?
Although I decided to buy a peloton bike after my old treadmill died, I’m pondering to get a treadmill. If I do, I’ll likely stay with Peloton. Looking at your review, I feel that there is room for Peloton to close the gap on the things it isn’t doing well. I will say that I am disappointed about the lack of Peloton cycling programs. I would love to see them add the option for users to build their own programs.
iFit has excellent trainers in real settings all around the world. Feels like you are running with them. Who wants to run in a gym setting unless you are a gym rat? Peloton sued iFit to make them drop their live classes. If you are a gym rat lawyer, Peloton is for you.
Ifit I can’t back a company who dues another over a leader board I mean come on it wasn’t hurting your bottom line just selfish trying to bury the comp ultimately putting thousands out of a job who have family’s to support after the pandemic ifit exercise Immersive running classes are superior in venue and selection video isn’t as good but all else is great
What do you think about Peloton or iFIT's running programs?
This is a video i am very interested in. Looking forward to watching it.
iFit's running programs are very complete and cover every runner's ability level... great stuff.

Tommy Rivs is the best instructor on any platform. Eye Up!
Tommy and Matt are two of the best 👍
I second that statement! Rivs all the way!
Tommy Rivs is worth the iFIT subscription fee alone. Absolutely legendary trainer!
Agree 100% 👍

I am doing the ifit walking series and they are tough to get through. I did 5k London Bridge run and that was a tough one too.

Only live workouts I'd be interested in is the races.
Bought mine 3 months ago and it quit on me and I can not get ahold of anyone at ifit. Wish I bought the peloton
I hate classes, that is why I created a gym in my house, all not to see people around me 😁. As such I am loving the iFit on the X32i
Bam All Peloton ❤

I believe this has now been fixed in the latest update!
Can you run half marathons on the Peloton?
Ya they have a new mode that allows you to create workouts based on time frame or mileage. And I believe it goes up to 5 or 6 hours.
Ifit definitely

If it all the way
You forgot the most important thing: Price
when I made the video, they were roughly the same price... both have increased in price since, though Peloton jumped up significantly more.
