Around this time, Disney had a service, like a baby sitting service where parents could drop kids off and go out on date night. I remember they took us on a boat ride to an island in the middle of the lake, we had a treasure map and did a search for buried treasure. The buried treasure consisted of the ingredients for s’mores, which we made at a campfire. Then they returned us by boat to a dock where our parents picked us up.
fun fact about the 2 2-ring Circus floats (not seen in Florida until the Anaheim' version's first visit in 1999, those two floats *ORIGINALLY* were floats in "America On Parade"
These Timekeeper videos are SPECTACULAR! I have been going to WDW yearly since it opened. I’ve witnessed these changes. This brings back incredible memories! (For instance, we visited River Country on our honeymoon the year it opened!!)
indeed that float was only seen for 2 years, being replaced in 1979 by the "To Honor America" float which utilized the same chassis as the Neon Finale.
As much as I love this parade, it needs a bit of an update. Not like a full on rebrand, but it seems too outdated for younger generations to enjoy it as much as those before

Thanks for the nostalgic memories. I was a cast member from '73-'84. This was the year I transferred to Guest Relations!

Why downvote this video? Why?!
These two people are ridiculous! It was another great video!
Love the main street electrical Parade!
Lol! The way the letters are placed at first I was like "who's Tim Ekeeping?" 😆 where's my coffee....
My best memories right there!
02:15 The neon characters on mirrors look awesome!

I'm feeling old... Like IBM, GAF was pronounced by its individual letters, most famously in the commercials by Henry Fonda.
❤️Timekeeping
Is the Empress Lily now the Paddlefish?
Yes
The Timekeeping series is awesome! Thank you!

GAF is not a word, it's pronounced G. A. F.. Even in their commercials.
