Another great video. You always put a lot of effort and energy into your vlogs. Glad you're enjoying the canals.

Thank you for watching and the kind words!! Fair to say we've fallen in love with Narrowboat life and the canals:) Are you on the canals?

I loved that and your previous videos. Ive been moored above Banbury for 2 years and the Oxford is a much favoured canal. I did the same trip last year in mid July.
Life jackets, ive never worn one on a river. I would if the river was looking fast flowing, though i stay off them in winter.
If you liked the Cherwell, i can highly recommend the Upper Thames from Oxford to Lechlade, though moori g is a lot trickier. That does get very curvy, but so beautiful.

Thank for joining us on our narrowboat adventures! Loved your suggestions in your other comment and we agree, the Oxford was more beautiful than we could’ve hoped for. While we didn’t make it to Banbury, looks like our boat will launched in Rugby so Wendy and I are debating heading south to see the parts we missed in this adventure.
It’s fair to say we’re very excited at the opportunity to retire to the canals and quite frankly, that’s in no small part due to the kindness of you and your comments that make up the NB community!
Quick question and don’t feel you’ll offend, are the real time videos worth publishing? Are you, and do you think others will enjoy them?
We’re publishing our Iceland travel adventures now but can throw up some more real time videos after.
Would love to hear your thoughts! Take care and stay safe!

I'm temporarily in Rugby at Brinklow for 2 months before heading back to Cheshire where my house is in August.
BTW, if you head south from Rugby, its particularly beautiful in my opinion between Braunston and Wigrams turn. Plenty of armco to moor up on, love just before Bridge 103. Nice circular walk if you cross over the bridge.
There are very few unpleasant people on the canals. Most people are helpful and generous.
Real time are tricky. I enjoy them occasionally. Phil on Narrowboat journeys has done some, you could check and see how his views are.
On the subject of diamond shaped locks, there is one on the River Avon, no idea why. Avon is even more beautiful than the Upper Thames and far more river like than the Cherwell!
