    Verstappen was back on track in Japan as he delivered once again and secured the win at Suzuka in a comfortable victory. But it was behind Verstappen where things were interesting as there were several teams battling it out to be second best.

    I have a few honourable mentions to add, just my two bits.
    1 Haas. I’m ever so sorry for Günther, but he did consider retiring anyway. But they have that deg issue under control, it seems, and suddenly they’re there again. Nice.
    2 Stake or whatever. It’s a decent car. Looks good, too. If only they get their pitstops right, they’re not embarrassing, not at all.
    3 Williams. We all know about the Excel sheet management by now, and they’re hard done by that culture shock. I sure hope things’ll improve now, I really root for them. Williams has my underdog vote every time. Mind you, I’m That Excel Guy at the office.

      It’s hard to say no to the statistical goat when he approaches a team. It’s like if a driver said no to Ferrari. Remember when people were laughing about Sainz’s signing to Ferrari in 2020? Look where that’s got him. The great will always be great. Lewis will perform when there is a chance for him to win and Ferrari will give it to him.

    In 2023 when Merc came out with the same concept in the W14 as the W13 I said they would now be 3 years behind...I was right. Mercedes is the 5th fastest car on the grid and have nothing to look forward to before the 2026 rules changes.

  • @sergioferrero46
    @sergioferrero46 2 месяца назад

    Incredible work, as always. However, I disagree that RB20 is even more dominant than RB19 in qualifying. Yes, Max has achieved 4 pole positions so far, but in Bahrain, Ferrari was faster. It is enough to see that Leclerc's time in Q2 was better than Max's pole, and only a poor performance by the red cars in Q3 (maybe caused by a change in wind and temperature conditions compared to Q2) and an excellent Max's lap secured pole position. In Australia, more of the same, Max had to do an flawless lap and wait for Sainz to make a mistake in T9-10 that cost him 4 tenths. If not, Ferrari would've gotten pole.
    This year, Ferrari is much closer, just see that the RB19 was born with an advantage of 7 tenths in race pace and the RB20 has "only" 4. They are still the class of the field, but Ferrari can take 4-5 more victories from them this season.

    What does Red Bull do if Checo finishes second to Max with a couple wins this year? What do they do with Lawson if Riccardo turns it around? I think it's time to move on from Checo and Daniel, but that's only because I want to see what Lawson can do and Sainz at Red Bull. Checo gets to ride into the sunset with his head held high and Daniel will always be loved by the fans.

    The biggest problem Mercedes has is the lack of unity aggravated by GR.
    In Japan Gr was allowed to brake F1 & FIA 'on track' rules by denying Piastri enough space to turn 'on track' and then deliberately bumped Piastri 'off track' to destroy Piastri's worn tires.
    at minimum, GR should have got a 10 second penalty but .......... as usual ......... GR is allowed to get away with it.

    Daniel Ricciardo deserves at least another 4 races with RB before Helmut Marko considers sacking him. If he hasn't made any progress after Monaco, then fair enough - but 4 races is too small a statistical sample to get meaningful numbers from which to judge his performance.

  • @HIPsteHeero
    @HIPsteHeero 2 месяца назад +8

    Everyone keeps hyping up Yuki, but if even the slightest thing goes wrong, the guy still acts like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum, times a 100. And am I really still the only one that remembers the extremely dangerous bullshit he pulled in Bahrain, when again for once he didn't get his way , when it wasn't even for the points? I don't want that anywhere near Max, because at least Checo can communicate, even when he's frustrated. And even when he doesn't think something is fair, he doesn't attempt to murder his teammate just to make a point.
    Yuki was told 2/3 years ago now that he had to get his temper under control, he hasn't. How the hell is this guy still in F1? I'm saying it now, one of these days, Yuki will do the same thing, but it won't just be a dive bomb missing teh other car, it will be right into his teammates car. Wonder how much everyone will still hype him up then.
    I don't get how Max who has calmed down so much generall compared to his reckless younger self, still gets so much hate from so many people, the same people that are now cheering on Yuki and ignore what a hothead he is, more than Max actually ever was.
    Sorry for the rant, but I don't get how everyone just shrugged off what Yuki has done and how he still is to this day, so easily.
    Just because he's been consistent now, let's not forget that even last year, he wasn't consistent at all and still had incidents that were highly unnecessary. I just truly do not think for even a second that Yuki is a good teammate for Max.
    Love the content as always though

Attempted murder, I think you need a good check cause that was harmless. stupid and made him look bad, but it wasn't malicious.
      And he is in F1 cause he is talented.
      And he has been consistent since last season, remember his start of the year? Really consistent. People just love to forget his good moments for the bad.

      Wasn't consistent last year? he was literally the only other driver on the grid as consistent as Max through the first quarter of the season before the car fell off, finishing 10th or 11th every race until Monaco. He had 6 points finishes worth 17 points total while his teammates combined for 2 points finishes and 8 points between the three of them (well, two).
