The race weekend isn’t over until Kym tells us what cars were driven to the track
Hell yeah💥
Thanks for your enthusiasm
Just an addition those are the new type Rs, I think they only started using it recently because the ones they used in europe was the old version with a more angular design
I thought it looked a little different
Add one more thing, the new FL5 Type R is built in Honda Saitama factory, just next to Tokyo
The old FK8 was built in UK (?)
@@keiming2277 yep, in Swindon. That Honda plant is now shut
this was a normal dbx. the 707 has a bigger grill, 4 instead of 2 exhaust pipes and a different spoiler and diffusor
Noted.
Great singing at the end
Crowns are no longer used as taxis in Singapore. Theyve shifted to the Prius or the Hyundai i40.
We still have a lot of old crown taxi in Hong Kong but they use Liquefied Petroleum Gas rather than gasoline
At this rate Kym you'll have your own platform for F1 and your following can get all information about races through out the year
It’s not growing as quick as it should be I reckon.
Well I do note you have enough following hope you can create a good platform
I have like knowing what the f1 drivers drove to Japanese grand prix race weekend.
Would be interested in knowing more about security guy Loyd if that’s remotely possible.
Kym, this video has the best outtro ever. Would have love to see you do a side video on the regional foods you eat and comment what you like and what you don't like, similar to the best steak you had last season at one of the Salt Bae restaurants.
Ate lots of beef here and loved it.
You spoil your delightful videos with all the commercials you plaster all over it, it’s such a shame, please don’t do it!
Those little hotel bathrooms are minute!! You could shave sitting on the toilet! I think amenities are in foyer as there is no space in bathroom to put the things! Weird looking cars drivers drove in Japan. Your video, as always, is very entertaining. Thanks.
That’s the normal DBX not the 707 DBX still the spec was on point! 🫶🏻
I was eagerly waiting for the Video!!
You mean to say George hasn't bought up all those Alex signed photos.😆
Not yet.
Do you think Danny Ric will do the signed pictures soon?
We live in hope
Wow the girl at the end is a great singer haha 🤪🤍
I agree, she should go on the voice
@@anikabates9673 another iconic Australian performer
Drove the new Type R
Surprised Honda didn't mix it up with some NSXs or S2000s.
Would’ve been nice.
Toyota Sienta is OK, but no power when you have 7 people on board
(Yeah, it has 7 seater version)
It is a 707
7-11 in Japan. Sir is a connaisseur.
Don't forget to do a nostril check before filming.
But they put in a nice loo - wonder what the Japanese think when they come to European hotels
Hi Kym. I am gonna unsubscribe and resubscribe again right now just for the pleasure to do so in your channel. Huuuuuge hugs from Colombia
Fire away my friend. Thanks
Daniel's Sienta may have been using the spare or space saver tyre. That's possibly why it doesn't have a hubcap.
Mclaren fucking up Daniel's tyres once again i see
don't ever book thru 3rd party sites kr agency, just book directly with the airline, since the airline can't help you if there's a problem and you booked thru someone else
If only American Airlines allowed it. The bastards
Interesting enough, this is the first time we've seen Red Bull in the new body style Civic Type R!
Thanks for the heads up
It was announced in late July, and it was built in Honda Saitama factory, just sitting next to Tokyo
It's not going to outside Japan anytime soon
I remember seeing how Japanese cars tend to have more boxy models, maybe to maximize interior space within a smaller chassis (?), a world away from American cars. Also interesting to learn about your experience with a business hotel; convenience stores are absolute saviors in Japan/Taiwan.
kei cars get tax and fee discounts which make them a popular choice
The Japanese streets are very narrow even for cars like StepWagon
That DB11 was stunning.
That's not a 707 unfortunately, but a nice car nevertheless.
What's a "step-wagon"? Is that a car for hauling your stepkids in? 😁
It's a MPV, just "wagon" and you know the meaning, mostly for family
Honda has Stepwagon
Toyota has Noah (cheap) Veldfire (mid range) and Alphard (Premium)
I think Aston should use a bright green on their F1 car, like the one on Sebs road car. That would be really eye catching. Those darker colours rarely pop in photographs or TV coverage. Wardrobe people in the film industry pay attention to this very closely, s do the set people.
The 500yen payment is for pay per view TV program including the *ahem
Noted
HAHAHAHA Daniel's car had its spare wheels on 🤣🤣🤣
Vettel's Aston is amazing!
I concur 100%
I've seen you in the red bull video....
You certainly have
That's the newest Type R, and I do believe that's 500 yen things is for Cable Channel, you have to pay extra for cable Channel on the TV (at the bottom of the picture, it shown テレビ, it means television)
The old FK8 looks badass whereas the new FL5 is a gentlemen
The new Crown that Alex drove was not really a shock per se, as it is a top luxury Toyota that isn't all over, like a Corolla and Camry. The real shock is if someone had driven a Toyota Century!!! That would be ballin at the highest, as it is the most exclusive Toyota. I am a bit shocked at what the McLaren boys, Kevin, Mick and tifi drove. In Jamaica, these are used as taxis & tour/excursion vehicles. We do have Crowns, but its a mixture of people drive Crowns.
Greetings to Jamaicans
Was the comment about American Airlines really necessary.
If you would have used the correct version of the website you wouldn't have had a problem.
Not the case.

I am a Van guy, i enjoy driving a van instead of a car. Must say those Asian only vans dont sute well my fat europian bum. They are very small and mainly built for slim tiniy people in eastern Asia. In europe Mercedes is the one with most relaxed driver position. My fellow fat germans think about this
Have you seen how narrow the Japanese streets are ?
that machine for the 500 yen down the side of the TV is to watch paid TV, i.e movies etc
Did latifi come in in the new Stepwgn (the one that looked like a box) or the one that Mick came in?
Japan would’ve been the perfect opportunistic place for Honda to go crazy with the Type R’s. I liked the Astons bc the colors made them pop. Neon pink, highlighter yellow, neon lime green..
Really interesting as usual Kym. I actually like seeing the low end cars for a change. The minibus type vehicles don't see very practical for the drivers to be driving around for the weekend.
Great video except for that bloke at the end screaming like a kookaburra touching a power line. Maybe next time go with a spoken word song or something in your range, though you should definitely post more. 🎃
I like the bar behind you,,
Full of Japanese whiskeys
Im guessing the machine at around 4:55 seems to be some form of video on demand type thingy majig. At the bottom it tells you to select P1, P2, P3 and to have your TV on channel 2.
I suspect that makes the bed vibrate. but I could be wrong.
I often wonder what happens after the race to those weird clothes Lewis wears.
They seem to appear only once.
Does he have a closet(s) full of them?
Or is there a thrift store he donates to?
Who would be seen in them?
"American Airlines you are screwing us" was epic. 😁👍🏻
It’s not a DBX 707 just a “regular” DBX
They love white cars in Japan. I would say at least half of all the cars are white.
movement such as shaking ur legs in the sienta can actually make the entire car shake
airline screwing customers never
I've not watched the video yet but I better see a probox
Normal DBX for Lance, Not a 707
So Toyota Crown = Camry. Got it!
Travel tips is back!
Hope to see you in Austin Kym
Lewis outfits is sick!!!
Stay passionate !!!!
Kym's a pretender
Karaoke!!
Love your videos always! hope you enjoyed the Kimpton as well!

Hi
Based on my experience, If you book your flight through a third party service you will find yourself sitting next to the wing or behind it where you get to enjoy the lovely loud engine noise unless you can afford first class. Most of American airlines planes are old 737's and are very uncomfortable. Kym, you are spoiled using non American air lines.
I’m flying a very interesting one today, Zipair. I think this will be a great review
You know what really grind my gears,
Arabic written left to right and using broken letters like in @Kym Illman’s T-shirt
Good to know I had your full attention
Aston Martin should do special livery with that color. It's like yellowish green.
And eye-catching
That's the new Honda Civic Type R which Max appeared in the video commercial.
I wish I’d known that before I did the video
Of all the WTDD episodes, this one was meh. Basically every car was boxy and white. Next up is my country and state FINALLY. If there aren't giant gas guzzling colorful cars, I will actually be shocked.
The wait to find out will be worth it
@@KymIllman can't wait to see your coverage as always.
Singapore used to have Toyota Crown Taxis back in the day but they have since been decommissioned and scrapped. In present day, most of Singapore's Taxis consist of Hyundai & Toyota Prius.
We still have a lot of very old crown taxi in Hong Kong but they use LPG rather than gasoline
That’s a bit sad, parents always preferred the old crowns due to the larger legroom
Fun fact about Japan : They do allow both left or right wheel cars running on the streets, some Japanese rich people like buying the left wheel Ferrari even though Japan is using right wheel driving. Just painful when in or out the parking lots
And smoking is not allowed on the street.
Is it because Japanese people only make Japanese cars? Like.. European and American cars are imported which is why they come in LHD.
Just wondering: are you breaking the law by using a VPN to see banned websites in certain countries? I would think the VPN would be banned too in those countries than love to ban websites.
None of us in the media centre ever have a problem using a VPN, and almost all of us need one in certain places
@@KymIllman Like China
Love your T-shirt😂

Hi it's not a 707
Thanks.
