In the origination of schematic languages the word Nimrod is actually a compound word consisting of two words nin and Murad. The two words together literally mean foundational king of Murad
Gilgamesh was before Nimrod. He was Prediluvian Nimrod was Post Diluvian. Easu, Jacob son, killed him and took the sheep skins God gave adam and eve which bestowed his power on them.
The ancient Jews used word play in some of their writings. Their familiarity with Babylonian and ancient Sumerian texts they used for their own purposes in retelling stories. Since the ancient Hebrew script has no written vowels, the consonants would only show. Thus Nimrod would be written as "nmrd." According to archaeologist David Rohl, Nimrod is a reference to the King of Uruk (Biblical Erech) of ancient Sumer: Enmerkar (nmrkr).
Things that make me go hmmm…. Ezekiel 31. God sends a mighty one to cut down the big cedar in the Lebanon because it was to high, to proud. Another thing,.. gelgamish on the sumarian kings list says his father was a phantom.
Yes he changed Noah’ name and him and sister Simiramus with Tammuz his son. They also changed to Isis and the husband Osiris and son Tammuz Ham Nimrod ‘s inherited the gene that made Giants. Seth, Noah’ son killed him!
Book of Jasher 14:2 And he (Rikayon) resolved to go to Egypt, to ""Oswiris the son of Anom"" king of Egypt, to show the king his wisdom; for perhaps he might find grace in his sight, to raise him up and give him maintenance; and Rikayon did so. Osiris is the son of Anom, and Anom was the progenitor of the Anamim, who are the sons of Mizraim (Egypt). Osiris is NOT Nimrod. Nor is Nimrod Gilgamesh. Nimrod built Uruk (Erech) making him the first king and Gilgamesh was the second King of Uruk according to the Sumerian tablets.
Does it say it specifically? I haven’t run across that connection, although I’ve thought about it being a possible spot… but I’m leaning towards a spot in northern Iraq. Mount Sinjar.
We know nimrod was responsible for the tower of babyl. Then people and languages shifted. Could it be that gilgamesh is nimrods, post babyl name. It wouldnt be the same.
The bible never give the real name of anyone so we cant make the connection to where it came from and then be able to see who people really worship our of blindness ... Yahwee the god of moses as jesus pointed out
If his real name wasn’t Nimrod, then why would Moses say: Genesis 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.” Also before the LORD means in the presence of the LORD. It doesn’t say anything bad about Nimrod. Those legends come later and are not in the Torah.
I highly recommend you read the hebrew and look into nimrod's word meaning; when the torah was translated into greek the rabbis maintained the negative connotation. Nimrod and Sargon of Akkad founded the same cities which means they are the same person or one is a liar. They are likely the same as sargon is a throne name not a given name, it essentially means real/legitimate ruler, he was a usurper and Sargon's recorded history does not paint a particularly good image of him. Whether or not he is actually gilgamesh is still a bit debatable but if true definitely means he is not good.
@@JoshuaSilk its important when reading the OT to look at what the early Hebrew/Israelites chose to annotate; he is "mighty", not righteous, not blameless, Nimrod's name meaning is "rebel/ to rebel", names in the ancient world were given for a reason. Go back and look up the name meanings for the first 10 patriarchs, you get a better perspective on how they viewed the world based on their naming convention. If Nimrod was a "good man" before the Lord, why was nothing else written about him except which cities he founded and how far he ranged across the ancient world, which is very indicative of expansionist/imperialistic ambitions; curiously he is not mentioned in the first list given for the sons of Cush in Genesis, this is odd as he is described at the end of the list out of order; possibly indicative of an illegitimate son.
I have to mention that gilgamesh is mentioned in book of giants as a giant also 8 adamic souls left the ark however since Noah took 2 of every flesh male and female , the various tribes of man (6th day creation) were also on the ark it's common sense guys Before the flood humans didn't just come from Adam and eve that's redundant... Cain fou d a wife in the land of Nod a daughter of 6th day creation Adam being created on the 8th also Cain isn't Adam's son that's why he isn't in the genealogy
Technically correct. Yes there were a different people pre-flood but I believe the idea that they were an earlier root race, somewhat different than post-flood Adamic humans.

He was responsible for the tower of babyl. Languages got confused and changed. After the tower was destroyed by God
Gilgamesh was before Nimrod. He was Prediluvian Nimrod was Post Diluvian. Easu, Jacob son, killed him and took the sheep skins God gave adam and eve which bestowed his power on them.
True, Gilgamesh appeared after the Deluge (11,000BC) and the destruction of the Tower of babel during King Nimrod's ear was in 3450BC

Nimrod's father : Cush /Kish

Is Nimrod a divine or demonic figure in the Bible, and what signs support this hypothesis?
Bible and Sumarian texts are stories about the same people, from different viewpoints.
Noe and his three son got bussy quick
The Tower of Babel is the Richate Structure according to the book of Jasher
