There is a book called "Moses in Ancient Egypt, the Hidden Story of the Bible," That equates him with Prince Ramose, and Hebrew history about a military commander that marries the Princess of Nubia. Indeed, my Research links Adam with the Egyptian God Geb, the Canaanite El, and that makes Cain and Seth the same person, and their two bloodlines are also the same. Thanks for showing me additional evidence they are the cult of Set. As RA mose, an aspect of Moses is the Prince of RA. Moses has a new song to sing, apparently.

History itself is just another layer of self interested mythology. The truth is that high civilization seem to rise and fall regularly and we are just the latest iteration. We repurpose the past as accomplishments, we reuse the stonework, we melt down the metals, we built a narrative build around putting ourselves at the story’s apex.

It kinda does make perfect sense that if a group of Jewish scholars had become fascinated with Greek stories and something like The Odyssey, they might want to try and wrote their own version of "a story from our history."

Yep. It is very ancient going back to the Hunter Gatherer "Astronomy Consciousness" displayed on Panel 43 at Gobekli Tepe. 7,000 years later it all starts to be encoded into the Astro-Theology of "World Age Passage Archetypal Eternal Return" into the Priestly Religions of the Levant. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Starting to put this all together goes back to the 1969 book "Hamlet's Mill" and Vera W. Reid's 1946 book "Towards Aquarius" written during the Blitz in London during WWII. Excellent work here Derek Lambert in starting to lay out the threads of the Hellenistic fusion after Alexander the Great! I am hard at work on my own book with four years of intensive research in. It is all fascinating on a psychological level. The work of C.G. Jung is alive and well! Especially with the entire current "State of Israel" now facing total social and economic collapse within a year because of the Right Wing Suicide of the Nation in and Endless completely Unwinnable War of Attrition. May everyone live in very interesting times ...

Josephus Antiques contains more information about biblical characters. Early Christians did ban certain writings though, the group called 'the way' (who were later to be called christians) writings were banned. Some of their writings appear among the Dead sea scrolls but they were the Jamesian Christianity not the Pauline version which is why they weren't liked, because their version was more like that of Jesus & James and not Pauls version which won the first Christian scism.

Fundamental terms seem to be lifted straight out of Egypt. This seems to come more from understanding (of language) than from (distant) memory. There is one important trace in the Pentateuch in favour of the Exodus story having a grain of real history in it. It's the prevalence of Egyptian names in the story of Exodus. Aaron, Moses, Merari, Miriam… and more, they're all Egyptian names. So Exodus is a story of "Egyptianized Canaanites" returning to Canaan after centuries of absence. The closest we find in Egyptian historiography is the expulsion of the Hyksos by Ahmose I around 1550 BCE.

@@gwynedd1 Not really, it goes deeper than that. People tend to use the names of their culture and language. The Egyptian names being used in the Hebrew Bible strongly indicates a deep Egyptian link. After all, Moses is called Moses not...some random name that was actually Hebrew. Unless of course Moses, Aaron etc were Egyptian names so embedded in the Hebrew culture of the time they didnt even consider them foreign. I can't remember the Pharaoh, there was/is a Great Courses course (lol) on Egypt that is free on Audible (at least is was free a few months ago when i listened to it). There is some evidence (according to the actual professor of Egyptology who did the course) that the Pharoah at the time the Hyksos/proto israelites left Egypt did indeed lose his Firstborn Son. So there is that little connecting nugget also.
Bear in mind that Egypt were not the good guys. They were raiders and asskickers. They had been the big boys on the block for millenia. Given the antagonism between Egypt and Canaan/Israel etc, why would they choose to use Egyptian naming conventions? There are not many young Adolfs around outside of Germany these days are there? Unless of course the Egyptian language was deeply embedded in their own culture, for some reason.....

It's weird and off putting that such a bloodthirsty, dyssocial and genocidal mythical character as Moses is seen as a huge hero in 3 major religions. Numbers 31: 13-21 is kind of a horror story, where Moses orders the killing of even captive women and their male infants - and letting the soldiers take the young girls "for themselves" after having killed the rest of their families - while irrationally blaming their people for a plague.
And there is also Exodus 32: 27-29 where Moses commands the Levites among his people to kill their own close family members and neighbours because of religious differences. According to the story he wanted them dead because they believed in and worshipped another God (aka the golden calf), and thus made Moses and his fellow believers and followers "a laughing stock to their enemies''. And after the massacre Moses praised them and said they are blessed for having killed their own brothers and sons

It is weird. When you read the bible with a fresh pair of eyes and see how barbaric it is, especially the Old Testament, it's hard to believe that people still think it is true. The golden calf you mention, is supposed to do with the Age of Taurus. Moses didn't want his followers to worship their old gods or Elohim. He wanted them to focus on Yahweh only in the new Age of Aries. This is why there is so emphasis on rams, lambs, sheep and the blowing of the shofar.

The story of Moses occurred in history however all of the details were deliberately reversed in the Holy Bible, in one of the first religious propaganda spin stories, in order to make the monotheists look like the victims and the Egyptians look like the aggressors.
In reality, it was the monotheists who were the aggressors and the Egyptians were the victims.
In the 13th dynasty of Egypt people known by modern historians as the Israelite pharaohs, AKA the hyksos or “shepherd kings”, conquered northern Egypt taking control of its throne for their own purposes.
This foreign occupation lasted for about 300 years until a pharaoh descended of those original conquerors named Amenhetep the 4th tried to force monotheism on the Egyptian population; taking as his new name, one of several aliases, Akhenaten.
For the native Egyptians, who had suffered the machinations of their foreign rulers, this was the last straw. Five Egyptian generals funded by the southern treasury of Egypt launched a military coup and exiled Amenhetep along with his Levitical priesthood.
It was after his expulsion that, realizing he couldn’t work openly anymore, Amenhetep took his last alias - “Moses”; a name truncation derived from one of his relatives named Thutmoses.
From that point, the propaganda of the Holy Bible was written.

Many of the Vedic stories mirror the Old Testament stories, and as I mentioned, it is believed that the Brahmans (chosen caste) created Judaism. In fact, the story of Abraham and Sarah came from the story of Brahma and Saraswati. Voltaire echoed this claim in Ezourvedam in 1760 stating that not only were Brahma and Abraham the same, but that all religions originally came out of India, the cradle of civilization. But it was really Megasthenes who clued us into who the Jews really were and where they originally came from. Megasthenes, an Ionian from Asia Minor, and contemporary of Seleucus Nicator, was charged with several embassies to India, where he spent a number of years between 302 and 288 BCE. His book Indica was one of the chief sources of knowledge about India in the Hellenistic era. He was the first to write about the connection between Judaism and Indian philosophers calling them Calanoi or Ioudaioi in Syria. Aristotle also spoke about them saying that the "Jews are descended (apogonoi) from the Indian philosophers." And Flavius Josephus quotes a passage from Clearchus' Dialogue on Dreams, which recounts what Aristotle said.
And if you can get your hands on a copy of Arumuga Navalar's booklet, The Abolition of the Abuse of Saivism (1868), you'll see how similar these religions really are. Navalar wrote the booklet as a response to the abuses that were imposed on the Indian people by missionaries during the time of Great Britain's brutal colonization. To refute these attacks and abuses, Navalar used his extensive knowledge of the books that compose the Old Testament to show how similar the stories were to his own religion of Saivism (worship of Shiva). And it worked. Many people in the west have no idea what Hinduism is about. It is a closed off religion, much like Judaism. And like Judaism, Hinduism has stood the test of time.

What blows my mind is NOT THE INVENTION OF MOSES, but that you actually believe that Moses was an invention. Bart Ehrman, is a great Biblical Scholar, but he is not the best person to rely on for interpreting the Scriptures. Even Bart Ehrman, believes that Jesus of Nazareth was a real historical figure--based both on the New Testament documents, and other Historical texts outside the Bible (he wrote a whole book on it) Jesus was NOT A MYTH. So, if these claims are true, then what Jesus Said ABOUT MOSES, trumps anything Bart Ehrman believes about a man who lived 3000 years ago. MOST of the information we have about Moses comes from the Old Testament scripture. AND, JESUS GIVES MOSES HISTORICAL CREDENCE, and for that matter, so do all the other Jews who recorded and passed down Historical knowledge about Moses. It is absolutely ludicrous, for Bart Ehrman 3000 years removed from Moses, to claim Moses was an invention. Jesus, after all was 2000 years closer, and so were the Jews before Jesus, who had a vested interest to PRESERVE the teaching of Moses in the Old Testament--their entire society was based on the Law of Moses after all.

Whoever Moses was, he was conversant with Annunaki technology. This is illustrated by his 'grinding' up the Golden Calf into powder, and making the Israelites drink the potion. He was curing them using monatomic gold.

  • @cinemaipswich4636

Yet Moses' first Commandment is "Thou shall not have other Gods before me". Moses says that there are other Gods before his God. In his day and age there were "other Gods" before his God. Other tribes worshipped their own Gods, just like he did. There was more than one God. Moses lived in a world where many tribes worshipped many Gods, but he was selfish. His God was better than other people's God.

About that Moses as a baby story. Doesn't the Nile River have crocodiles? That is a great opportunity for some good old-fashioned Biblical BS.
Baby Moses gets attacked by a crocodile but rips the croc's head off then makes a toy rattle out of its teeth.

This is not true. I do not believe that Moses was truthful in his writings, and I do not believe that his God was legitimate, but I know he was a historical figure. Not only is there historical (archeological evidence) proving that he existed, but there is also a corresponding history of Egyptian events that do correspond with the account. You and many others place the Exodus in the wrong part of the timeline.
Moses was found as an infant by young Hatshepsut, and adopted by her stepfather, Thutmose II. It was after Hatshepsut's reign that the Exodus takes place, but not as late as late as Ramses or Ramses II. By the time of the Mernoptah stele, Israel had already conquered Canaan and divided into two kingdoms, which fits the biblical timeline just fine.

If it is true that ancient Israel was once a colony of ancient Egypt it would not be too difficult to prove because, genealogy would reveal a common ancestry origin. However, DNA sequencing tests do not reveal a very close relationship to each other. Indrrd DNA testing actually disproves it. Jews sre more closely related to an Arabic Levant genealogy. Egyptians are more closely related to Anotolians and Afroasiatic lineages of North Africa and the Horn of Africa. There is also some evidence of intermarriage between Egyptians and Nubians. For more on this, look at the Wikipedia pages tiitled Genetic History of Egypt, and Genetic Studies of Jews, particularly the sub-chapter Ancient Israelite DNA.
