Maybe a stupid question, but where are all the prisoners now ? I understand that most were in there and not guilty of any crime but probably some of them actually committed real crimes / murders…
Not only that but where is anything that was in the buildings, given these were fully functioning places supposedly like a week or two before this video, basically nothing left but convenient log books and photos, it's like scenes from Call of Duty lol

@@MrKAmsterdam I know that. But those buildings Bold has shown like Assad palace was ruined and everything stolen in 13 odd days. This prison was liberated 17.12.2024 and look at it. From kitchen area nothing was left on its place.
@banas17 Syrians basically barely have any private possesions. The Assad rule robbed everything they could from them. That is the definition of what communism rule can become. Of course they are mad and would loot it. But look, Damascus wasn't liberated by HTS. It was liberated by the Druze-led Southern Operations Command from Daara. These people were the longest opposition fighters to survive against Assad, being defeated in 2019 or 2018. Because Assad regime pulled back to defend Damascus and Homs, the Druze could seize weapons and March to Damascus. Symbolically the revolution firsy started in Daara and it was ended from the same ppl from Daara. HTS came few days later to Damascus after taking Homs. HTS takes most of the credit for defeating Assad, at start of the revolution there were 800 different opposition factions. The revolution was organic and supported by no other government. When HTS came they guard government offices and the palace and such from looting, they issued a statement that all possessions stolen from the palace must be returned or those who are found will face consequences.
@goonerboz6023 The Assad regime was demonic and it’s great that they are gone. But what replaced them is also bad, DO NOT trust the HTS and SNA. There are already reports emerging of crimes and attacks committed against ethnic and religious minorities. The SNA also ethnically cleansed the Kurdish population of the Afrin region of Syria. I truly, truly wish the best for the people of Syria regardless of their ethnicity or religion and i hope some sort of closure, peace and justice prevails after years of suffering from war, dictatorship and terrorism. Yet, i am afraid that one regime was simply replaced by another one.
Bald, that book at 2 minutes was history mate. And the next ones a few minutes later. Genuinely, this series is your best yet. History as it's being made.
Those prisons look as if they have been derelict for years rather than a week or two. What about the toilet in the first prison? Shouldn’t that of stunk? Surely bald would have mentioned it. Something does not seem right, but I might be wrong. There was no furniture in the places like desks to book people in, just big empty rooms and cells. The kitchen surely would have looked as if everything was still in place but even that looked derelict. Vanessa Beeley who lived in the country would say different on how the country was run.
Please, try to use logical thinking. It was robbed by fleeing guards, then by rebels and/or local people and former prisoners. Of course it isn`t museum, but it completely make sense. And Vanessa, how often she visited fucking prison?

It's important that all that documentation be preserved. Those logbooks and other records that are strewn around. There was a previous video showing filing cabinets full of documents. I hope the new government hast he foresight to save this information.
Seriously shocked by the lack of order. Why wouldn't they have teams of people going through everything?
@@paulsetti9484 it’s Syria dude
Syria had an independent banking system , no Rothschild central bank . The last countries to attempt this was Germany in the 1930s ,Iran , Libya , Cuba, North Korea and look what happened to them
My thoughts too. I'm wondering whether what we're told is atrocity propaganda
@@ScorchedEarth-cd5clof course its all propaganda. Another secular independent state destroyed. Only took 13 years
Independent? Maybe. At the same time it was disfunctional.
It's nice to see you doing some actual journalism mate. Love it.
Ramy is such a great guy, he's like the perfect gameplay side character
Rami has a heart of gold
Bald 2 years ago: "Syria is an amazing place."
Bald now: "How awful Syria was"
The people, yes. The regime, no. It's not difficult to understand.
@@mychannel5019 Bald would not have been allowed to film in Syria without the regime's approval, without it being a puff piece for the Syria regime.
@@mychannel5019 Lol, he never once goes into who HTS are in any real detail. Tell us about Jolani being baghdadi's right hand man, the formation of Nusra Front etc etc, naaaah 'Assad bad' :( :( :(. So so sad I heard they found Tupac on floor 56 of Sednaya. If you think Assad is bad then what replaced him is many times worse.
@@Notorious46aren't HTS basically Al-Qaida?
@Notorious46 buddy nobody over the age of 30 has any illusions about the state of the middle east. It's an endless rotating clownshow, it really doesn't matter what brand of extremism or what face is at the head of it.
This is going to be a historic video on your channel. The stuff you showed us is simply beyond evil. Also props to the gentleman who showed you even without understanding the conversations he had you could tell he had such great empathy.
Thank you Mr Bald for this! May God bless the people of Syria! You have suffered too much and for too long. I pray your future will be healing.
"Finally now gone" is a massive understatement. It would have felt like *forever* to Syrian people.
13 years is a LONG time
It doesn't get more fresh reporting than this, cheer Bald. Insane story.
Bald and Rami have literally brought us an important part of history, award winning stuff this. Well it should be
Yeah the fact checking has been bulletproof
Mr Bald....
U really should get award for best documentary for this holocaust in Syria.
It's the fastest ever documented atrocity after the fall of a dictator's regime.
Honestly this is what most prisons in south America look like!
It's really not as bad as they say, look how big the windows are too in front of the cells lol. Barely a dungeon, it's just a standard ass 3rd world country prison.
Extraordinary reporting. So good to enable the syrians to tell these stories even with balds special flavor interjected.
May there be peace and security for the syrian people
Rami's car is an old Proton Persona imported from Malaysia. Quite a good car.
I have a Proton Saga... it's a Hot Wheels car. Lol.
It needs a power door lock actuator. That’s the sound you are hearing when placed in park.
People will look back on these videos in the future, and you too will also be part of history. As documenting this right as soon as it happened. Bravo. Crazy to think about.
Hopefully The Christians won't get persecuted under new Syrian rule. I spoke to some of them and they are very scared. People have already threathened Churches and burned Christmas trees the last few days....... 😡

My best friend (a man who performed my wedding ceremony) is Syrian. Thank you for sharing this, Bald. Your content remains educational, entertaining, and incredibly empathetic.
Maybe a stupid question, but where are all the prisoners now ? I understand that most were in there and not guilty of any crime but probably some of them actually committed real crimes / murders…
They are all free now.
Prollly otw to Europe riding a boat funded by Soros
Not only that but where is anything that was in the buildings, given these were fully functioning places supposedly like a week or two before this video, basically nothing left but convenient log books and photos, it's like scenes from Call of Duty lol
They are out running wild and free, harmonizing, living their best life.
Most were actually guilty, many jihadists and former isis fighters in there
it is concerning how the books and papers are left flying around, these are important for parents to track what happened to their loved ones
the cell phones left in the prison cells too can have important info, maybe photos.
It's terrible that places like this exist in the world. This was a fantastic video but it also was one of the darkest ones I've seen. Thank you for bringing this to the world.
Benjamin, this is by far your best work. I had no idea about some of the things I saw. Truly heart wrenching. Thank you for all you do to show us real life, as sad as it is for some. P.S. you shouldn't have tried to push that woman into the hole dude :).
*The looting must have been insane*
Free Aks FOR EVERYONE
I'd have took the log books and photos and the army jacket and hat 😂
There’s much of looting
Country already been destroyed and in bad shape.
Just imagine all the traps Stimpee could make inside that prison
Actually it was the prison guards who discarded records and took whatever they could
Basically the old regime was replaced with a new regime. Nothing's gonna change much there, we all know that, unfortunately...
Political prisoners have already been released
The regime with 100s of thousands murdered is replaced by a guy sharing power with religious minorities and appointing women to top roles - not exactly OBL.
We also must remember that those prisons also kept ISIS locked up.
ISIs are the government now so 🤷♂️
And common criminals !
@@joebidet2050 Yes it goes both ways.
People on Death Row in the US always say they're innocent and were wrongfully imprisoned too
Thank you Bald for showing us the horrible conditions of the prisons. I learned more from your video than any news footage I saw on the news.
How is it that you get into Syria to report these things and the legacy media has not?
He's an agent.
It’s obvious! They’ve recruited a popular RUclipsr for propagandist work
@@bruceybrew you can't be serious
What are you talking about? I literally saw "legacy media" news reports, boots on the ground, a day or two after Assad's fall. In the Sednaya prison too.
Maby you dont watch media? Literally every one was in those places
Thank you, Mr Bald. You do serious documentaries!
Cutting edge Y.T content again Ben - thank you.
Bald. Your idea for this cover for your Mi6 job is brilliant you have been in every major conflict days before or after they happen. Coincidence I think not
We need you and Spanian to collab for a video together, you guys are easily the best at covering these types of videos, would break the internet
And which country has been known to apply various pressure, influence, sanctions and funding terrorrist for "regime change?"
There must be a story behind the fact that there was only one China video ?
Yeah, the CCP probably clocked on that he's a paid Mossad/CiA/MI5 agent...
True!
It struck me as odd how he talked about a memorial of a massacre in that video but didn't mention anything about the Tiananmen Square massacre.
Syria happened
11:13 bald, great footage, but sometimes it's better to talk less and let the vibe speak for itself, the guide puts it well " how could he forget"
Yes, and in that vein, I would have advised against slapping the obnoxious "dramatic" music over the footage... it's just crass and disrespectful.
@@CosmicTeapot Womp Womp cry about it
Would be great if you could document the "hell on earth" that is Gaza at the moment. Gaza is like this prison x 1,000.
Some of the discarded stuff looks like it's been there for years.

Nah, it's his sponsors' facility. He won't go.
Bald I have been following you forever and I can tell you really hit jackpot when u visited all these places in Syria and saw it firsthand and became part of history forever in those videos 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😊
Only thing weird for me is after 13 days every building is ruined. I don't get how in this short time this happened.
The war lasted for a decade, not for 13 days.
That’s Russian level obliteration liberation?
@@MrKAmsterdam I know that. But those buildings Bold has shown like Assad palace was ruined and everything stolen in 13 odd days. This prison was liberated 17.12.2024 and look at it. From kitchen area nothing was left on its place.
@@banas17 these prisons were stormed in the last days. Yes. I guess there were a lot of anger.
Looks to me like this place was abandoned years ago 🤔
the rebel leader was second in command of isis and al qaeda in syria hes on the terrorist wanted list
But baldy says they are the good guys bruv. (;
The most wanted terrorist in the world is Netanyahu and he's not even on the most wanted list. Those lists are a joke bro.

@@Cthulhu013 he helped the rebels with turkey
@goonerboz6023
The Assad regime was demonic and it’s great that they are gone.

Amazing content! well done Ben👊
Everything was ambushed and looted by the rebels and others
I have to say, I trust Vanessa Beeley and she had met Assad a few times
Please, try to use logical thinking. It was robbed by fleeing guards, then by rebels and/or local people and former prisoners. Of course it isn`t museum, but it completely make sense. And Vanessa, how often she visited fucking prison?
@@annother3350 aa, yeah, interview with dictator, what can convince more. No further logic and common sense required. assad looks like fine guy on posters, therefore, he is good guy.
