My fan quit working and one day the hose came apart and sprayed Coolant everywhere. I had to drive about a mile but I stopped 3 times to let it cool down. Hopefully the cylinder head didn't get warped from overheating. The overheat warning light came on just as I made it home.

Just so no one gets confused this video is for only 04-05 5 series bmw, 06 and up has the electric waterpump which requires the push of gas pedal for 10 seconds to start the bleeding procedure and make sure coolant is full before you start the procedure this is a ok video but not how i bleed my car but works too..

Is there a trick to get in the hoses on far enough for it to clip together

Thank you. To bleed… does the gas pedal need to be pressed down for 10 seconds?

lol what was wrong with this design? I just had to do this on my 2011 E90 and the hose was friggin welded on at the radiator. Of course the radiator is plastic at the connection and if I snapped it off its a $600 replacement in an N51 SULEV engine... thank god it came off without breaking
