We need so many more Judge Fleischers in this country!! Judges that don't just rubber stamp probable cause affidavits!! He does his job the way it's supposed to be done and the police and the police unions hate him for it!!!
If you're dumb enough to tamper with the device they will find out, and if you're stupid enough to do it just so you can drink you deserve the " he goes with you" there's a reason he's wearing it for bond, he broke the rules it's simple.
Yeah cause technology never glitches out. 25 hours sounds like a device issue, not someone sitting there messing with it. Wild you can go to jail for something like a failing sensor.
I’m pretty sure they checked the device to make sure there wasn’t a technical failure before making the report. These devices monitor continuously and have a time base. If there’s an interruption in the monitoring it will be in the record. If you have a cell phone, you can go into settings and see just how much your cell phone monitors. For example mine will tell me how much I have moved throughout the day and give me the number of miles I have walked. I’m sure these security devices are at least as sophisticated as a cell phone.
Logical argument....If the device was not contacting the skin for 25 hours, how could it record a positive alcohol reading within those 25 hours? Something technical is wrong with either the device, or the testimony of the Probation Office, the guys lawyer should have been smart enough to make this argument and the Judge in his infinite wisdom should have caught it too. If you can explain how both facts could be true, I'd like to hear it.
The mic is probably on his desk and is picking up his mouse clicks and keystrokes. Also seems not to have any background noise cancelation. Lowest bidder provided?
Judge: It lost contact with his skin for 25 hours and he says he never tampered with it, and it detected alcohol during that time. What do you say? Defense Counsel has options: 1. I reccomend the Court Admonish him. 2. Since the device's records claim it was not in contact with my client's skin for 25 hours, then there is no way it could have detected alcohol in his system during that time period. I recommend my client be outfitted with a replacement device and any further actions regarding this matter be postponed while an investigation of the original device is conducted to inspect for tampering or a fault within the device. Defense's Counsel chooses option 1. Me: Sigh.
He doesn't worship Saturn. Black robes, black cubes, and squares are occult Saturn worship. When you graduate, you wear a black robe and a square on your head and move the tassle. Just like Nike is the left side of a Saturn ring coming around. It's all hidden in plane sight.
This was a bad call, the story about the monitor makes no sense. How could it detect alcohol if its not in contact with the skin? And 25 hrs of tampering? Sounds like a glitch, ive seen this judge before but why was he acting like scarface?
If consumed in large amounts, alcohol will stay in your system, and continue to be detected well after 24 hours. It's likely the suspect removed the monitor, went on a drinking binge, then reapplied the monitor after he thought it wouldn't be able to detect the alcohol he consumed.
@@hellnick999 better yet my eggs are free as my landlord has chickens ! but hey time will tell ! maybe just maybe we can get out of the fire and back in to that frying pan ! and to all you haters out they good luck with your TDS !
Attorney pretty much threw him under the bus. No argument or discussion on the facts of what tampering means. Technology issue, skin to skin contact issue, 25 hours because of no higher authority looked into it after that amount of time to remedy the fix. At least try.
This judge usually tries to help the people, when you screw yourself the only way for him to help you, is to let you experience consequences. I’m sure the defense is aware of this….
ok, so is the guy immegrant? cuz now they ship those illegal immigrants out of the country and looks like this guy failed to follow the rules of the law so he'll probably be shipped out too.
I've been an instant translater a couple of times. It was insanely hard work. Props to the translator that does it professionelly.
You mean a simultaneous interpreter :)
You gotta learn to spell 1st.
Judge Fleischer is the example I wish all judges would follow. He is a wonderful example of how to balance compassion and sternness.
yes, he thinks the case shouldn’t been brought he questions it like a judge should instead of just going with whatever the prosecutor wants
He should have been the judge for tRump's trial.
We need so many more Judge Fleischers in this country!! Judges that don't just rubber stamp probable cause affidavits!! He does his job the way it's supposed to be done and the police and the police unions hate him for it!!!
Those dreaded four words: “He goes with you.”
Judge does an incredible impersonation of Jack Benny!
judge Fletcher is one of the only judges I’ve ever saw stand up to prosecutors and even police officers on the stand when they get caught lying.

He was arrested for causing a car crash while driving drunk. He should’ve already been in jail.
If it's not in contact with his skin then how did it detect alcohol?
I assume once the 25 hours were up it found it or it wasn't a solid 25 hours. I would assume a piece of paper between him and the sensor
There's a reason no one paid the $100 bond.

Thanks joe.
This Judge is awesome!
hand on his chin with the silent stare... you're screwed!!!
my question, if they lost contact of device for 25 hrs, how'd they get a reading? does it have a memory?
It likely detected the alcohol he consumed, after he reapplied the monitor.
There always seems to be so much clicking, banging, scratching, and other audio annoyances coming from only his courtroom. Not sure why that is.
The mic is probably on his desk and is picking up his mouse clicks and keystrokes.
Also seems not to have any background noise cancelation. Lowest bidder provided?
@ it must be! He (or they) need to do better with the audio in his courtroom. I only notice audio problems in his courtroom videos.

Alcohol was detected when the device was reattached. Nice try Mattlock.
Wow. You guys have one good judge in America. Just the one, tho.
I usually see American judges in robes, but he wears 'only' a suit. Why is this so?
I think the judge can decide if they wear the robe or not.

He shouldn’t even be in the United States.
If it lost contact with the skin, how can it detect alcohol? Did he wear socks under it?
It likely detected the alcohol he consumed, after he reapplied the monitor.
25 months in jail
Another one. This time with a USA shirt. Do they really think this makes them look better?
Judge shoud know state and cops lie
dam with all that noise going on is he going to bust out in a rap ! hey judge i am here to tell you so !
The bangering and clattering make these vidéos unwatchable
There's nothing the OP can do about that.
ssssssshhhhhhhhhh lol
Easy fix: don't watch.
Why comment?

For 25 Hours?? Uhhhh. Yup. That’s a technical glitch. How dumb is this Judge??
Ikr? Also what movie does he think he's in?
Or he just left the playing card in the way until the hangover was gone

He's gonna keep the criminals and deport the law abiding immigrants. Watch and see.
And why? Because the criminals know how to hide...
Pretrial is not to be punitive. This is why he is going to loose his licence next year.
It’s not punitive. He has 2 DWIs and is tampering with his device. Get real.
how is his license going to not be tight?
This is one of the very few honest and fair judges !! Hes not a blue line licker !!
