Looks like each clip was recorded twice, once with models disabled and another with everything else disabled. Hugely unique way to do it and had to have taken a ton of time.

The lofi CRT aesthics, the silly little vignettes, the playful discontinuous editing, the excellent music choice, the satisfying syncs, the stupid goofy gucci yoshi gameplay all make this video an instant classic. Mad props egg$ and yoshicord.

This is incredible, seriously. Community combo videos are always nice, but the clip quality, cool vfx, and the Qumu remixes (big fan of that guy) pushed it to the next level. Shoutout to everyone who contributed, this was an excellent watch!

How do I join the yoshicord?
I don't even understand how this editing is possible, like how are the characters overlayed? if that is the right word
Everything is double recorded - once with the backgrounds green screened out and once with the characters invisible - then they're synced up via audio. This allows different effects to be placed on the individual layers. :)
