She was a child at the time and still wept as an elderly woman. For more recent atrocities, "Breaking the Silence" record statements by the iTf themselves, they recount the events witht he same casualty their forebears do.
The "Costs of War" study by brown in 2021 has these figures for the past 20 years of engagement of US policy: indirect deaths 4.5-4.7 million, direct 905-940,000 , in other words 6 million deaths and 38 million displaced. This is relevant because of the Oded Yinon Plan.

After listening to this doctor who dedicates himself with nobility and dignity to saving lives, including these lives of children condemned to die in the purest horror and cruelty, we are all dead because we cannot save these lives. I am ashamed to be part of this inhuman misery into which we have become. We are witnesses of a genocide and we cannot help to stop this crime. But people like this doctor move us and help us to believe that among the horror there are good and humanitarian people.

An extremely significant interview for history. Dr Mark provided a 'hard to even listen to' account of the utterly horrific reality in Gaza being funded by US taxpayers largely. The whole thing is very hard to process intellectually and emotionally. That children could be knowingly killed in this way on a daily level is just too much to take in.
