I love your pot rack and all the unusual items you put on it. Now I have some wonderful ideas for mine. So love your wonderful home, know there's lots to do but it will be wonderful when you're finished
Helllo, I just love the beauty you created in your butler’s pantry! It’s gorgeous and warm and functional. You are so right about making spaces beautiful even if they are not exactly how we envision them or want them to be. It is a process and the beauty should be enjoyed all throughout the journey. Thank you for the wonderful reminder. 😊
I just found your channel this morning. Im enjoying your content, especially that you include God! Everything looks so pretty. May the Lord bless you and your family !!
It's so WONDERFUL to see you again! Your videos are always so inspirational and put things into perspective for me. Great job with pot rack and LOVE the flowers in the bucket.!
Thank you so much! I missed sharing videos and I’m so excited to get back in the swing of it. Thanks for stopping by to watch and for your sweet comment! I love reading them 🤍🌱🪿
I turned on my iPad and saw a notification of your video. And so this is the very first thing I am watching after getting my coffee! What a beautiful home, imperfections and all. I have always loved your style and your wonderful outlook. I’m so glad you are back and I look forward to following along on this memorable journey. ❤️
Thank you so much!!! I wish you knew how much your kindness means to me! I LOVE hearing from you. And I’m so excited to take you along on this journey. ❤️ Have a great weekend!!
Beautiful! If you look deeper into the meaning of want in Psalm 23:1 you will find that it also implies you will not fail. Not only will you not be lacking but you will not fail. Your beautiful pot wall and how you make your spaces work exemplifies that as God moves in your heart and mind to not want or fail as a homemaker.
First time watching your video... Looks amazing! To have your wall space and your collection of pots!!!! Looking forward to watching more... Making the mundane beautiful, romantize the ordinary is my motto...
I’m so glad!! I love to romanticize life. I know some people aren’t into it, but there is so much beauty in the regular everyday. Thanks for watching! Have a great week!
Your home will get to the point you want it to eventually. After all the way it looks is less important than who are in it. Your family is beautiful, therefore your home is beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing
We live in a 137 year old house, and while we have done a lot of improvements it will never be perfect. I tend to look at it with an overly critical eye, but as you said, others don’t see it that way. Thank you for a look inside your home and gardens, your presentation is so calm and affirming! And on the paint problem (we’ve done a lot of painting in old homes) the peeling problem of the paint done by previous owners happened because they painted latex paint over oil paint, and it won’t adhere. Encounter that a lot in old houses, because used to be everything was oil based paint. Enjoy your videos so much, you are doing it the right way, a little at a time, and being content in the meantime with the lovely home you are blessed with!
That’s what the lady at the paint store said when I told her what was happening. Did you discover an easier way to solve the problem than stripping/sanding the paint down? I’m just not very excited to repeat what we did in the dining room…(although now that I think about it, that was probably the hardest room with the bead board and picture railing.) thank you so much for sharing your insight and sweet words. It truly means more than you know! 🤍
@@opendoorsopenhearts in areas that don’t get a lot of use/aren’t touched a lot (like crown molding) we have had good success with scuffing the surface with a sanding block and then priming with a high adhesion primer (sherwin Williams has) and then two topcoats. If the paint is already peeling in places especially high touch areas like doorframes better to just get it off, or it will just peel again.
Yes! Stone by stone we will get where we plan to go. Not to mention sometimes the slow downs actually help us get where we’re going faster. Slow and steady. Have a great weekend!
She is absolutely wonderful!! Love Andrea! Thanks so much for subscribing!! It means so much to me! I hope you continue to enjoy my videos. Have a great day! 🤍🌱🪿
That’s what I was afraid of. I have to sand it. But the good news is the dining room was the most difficult room with all the breadboard. So every room moving forward will be easier than the first room I fixed woohoo! Hahaha thanks so much for sharing and watching!
Hey!! I ended up buying from a local vintage store and asked for another for Christmas. The one was a handmade gift from an uncle. I agree. It’s hard to find them at reasonable prices.

Thàt means they painted with acrylic paint over 2:47 oil paint and then won't stick and peels. Pot rack looks great.
