I get error "canister purge solenoid valve circuit" open circuit in my Renault Twingo 1995 with an Delco Remy 199 solenoid. I checked continuity to the ecu and resistance of solenoid and check it with a vaccum pump but still error keep coming back, what could be the issue?
WD-40 isnt really bad to use, but in this case with a delicate circuit board inside like the sensor shown i would use contact cleaner. Good enough to clean and keep the safe from getting damaged in any way
One of the video I see detail testing will you answer - Input and output flow is same of diffrent ? Can you tell Also all purge valves working like this?

Yeah it could, anything in the EGR system like this valve or clogged canister could cause erratic bad gas mileage. Also check your vaccuum tubes for cracks or wear, also check or replace the PCV valve which is cheap. Really dirty intake sensors could too.
Yeah the video did use WD-40 which I would honestly recommend against. I would first CLEAN it with a big dose of carb / throttle body / sensor cleaner because it's an actual cleaner and dries fast, then when good and dry, hit it with a small shot of white lithium spray lube .
It’s only 83 seconds long 😂 Come on guy? There are videos that are 40 minutes and more but I would still be afraid that you don’t have the tools they are using or the understanding of what to do. Yeah, take your car back to the dealership, they only will charge you anywhere from $120 to $150 for a diagnosis. Take care guy!

It says WD-40 on the screen when he's spraying it into the straw. I would think carb cleaner would work just as well, though
