Well the first few times he appeared on the show they showed a pic of him in a tux
Well there is another picture of him that they used early on where he had longer slicked down hair, but for the TBS show yeah this is the one they used.
I was in the audience and what he said was that he arranges the locations of shooting for outdoors sketches, organizes the financial side for props and such, pays attention to the legality sides of things when a joke references brands and handles some responsibilities of the pr department.
i can only hope the comment that everyone was pretty much waiting for is legit. 😂

My favorite skit is the “Jordan Schlansky’s Masterpiece” Star Wars speech from the Scraps Outtakes reel.
He follows Patrick Bateman’s morning ritual: “l believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. As someone who has worked as an executive producer before, I can attest that it is really hard to precisely describe what an associate or executive producer does on a show/film set. Jordan's description that he does various production tasks assigned to him is kind of the perfect Job description of an Associate producer.

It is amazing how we have all got to learn about the people in the show, what they do, and even about their personality.

Honestly, when I listen to Jordan, He makes great points.
Wow 26 years and he's never been promoted to Producer or Senior Producer. Jordan must have really liked his job to stay in one position that long.
Getting paid very well to work half days probably has something to do with it.
He actually was promoted to the position he has. He started working on the show as an intern in the early '90s when Conan had late night. When Conan had the whole issue with NBC and moved to California many of his staff came with him. But yeah Jordan worked his way up the ladder

Teh fact that Conan shows you his staff, and is regularly talking to them (even if its part of skit) probably means he has a good relationship with them. People who don't have a great relationship with their staff either won't know their staff well enough to include them like this, or don't want to risk the obvious - that the staff show they don't like them in some way!

It was more than 5 years ago that I discovered Jordan on RUclips with Conan and he is easily one of my favorite person on RUclips, there’s just something special about his character, gonna miss you man😂
I just want to say thank you too Jordan Schlansky. It’s because of him that I started listening to the rock band Rush. And while I can’t say that they’re my favorite musical artist/group of all time, they are definitely in my top 10.

The way he interacts with Jordan is super funny. If you watch the past clips, they cut when Jordan laughed. There’s a few cuts in this one as well.
