Choripanes + chimichurri recipe at hilahcooking.co...
Choripanes were invented in Argentina, but similar sandwiches are eaten in Uruguay, Brazil, and Chile. Choripán is a portmanteau of chorizo and pan - sausage and bread - but that's not all there is to it. Chimichurri is what makes the sandwich famous.
Chimichurri is a fresh salsa based on oil and vinegar and parsley, with various other ingredients added depending on the cook. Garlic in some amount is always present; onions or shallots sometimes; red pepper flakes in whatever amount you desire; oregano and bay leaf; some recipes use a combination of cilantro and parsley, as well.

Carlos is so talented! His recipes are really delicious. Chorizo with pan (bread) will always make a great combo! and the classic chimichurri that could not be missing. Every country has its own version of Chorizo, the secret, people say, its in the condiments used to flavor the meat.. anyway, it looks delicious, Hilah!

I grew up eating choripanes when I lived in Colombia and imagine my surprise when I learned that it's actually an Argentinian recipe. All this time I thought it was Colombian. Oh well, it's still an awesome recipe!

+Angelo Chiappe if you are still having trouble finding chorizo then make it yourself. It is so easy and you can leanr to make chorizo verde too just to change it up.

Well...actually is a Roman Empire creation (or probably greek) but the "Argentinian side" of the chorizo is a very distinctive twist, a very unique one....around five centuries old.
