Hi Adam. First of all, I'm a big fan of your videos. I've been trying to find the right headset for the last 4 days and came across your videos yesterday and they are a breath of fresh air. I'm wondering if you can give me some advice. My main focus is a microphone that blocks out external noise. I live in Colombia and there are streets sellers than come past my window a couple of times a day. I teach online so the interruption isn't ideal! 1 - I've narrowed it down to either the Evolve 40 or blueparrott b350 xt - What would recommend? 2- Also, I could potentially splash out and get either Jabra 65 or Logitech's Zone Wireless. Which one would you pick from the two? And would you say the difference in price is worth it when comparing your choice for this question with your choice for the first question? Thanks!
Thanks a ton for the feedback and comment! The Evolve 40 and Blueparrott 350 XT are bought really great at eliminating background noise. A buddy of mine has the 350 XT and the only complaint with Bluetooth headsets is latency. I make hundreds of calls a week and I use a wired headset for consistent calls or situations where the last thing I want is the “Sorry you go ahead” back and forth. If you’re stationary for a while and not walking around a lot I’d go for the Evolve 40. Main reason is because you said you teach online and I’m sure lag or delay might be annoying from time to time. I’ve gotten to the point where I loved Bluetooth headsets for coffee shops or when I have a few calls/group meetings kind of thing.
Jake Hunt For the second question. The Evolve 65 has a way stronger mic overall but no bells and whistles beyond that. You sound like you’re on a landline but it’s only great for calls. The Zone Wireless is great for all the in between stuff like music between calls or ANC with only blocked out minor ambient sounds like fans, cars driving by or softening voice chatter a bit. Jabra Evolve 65 is what I choose strictly if you just want to sound good with no background noise. For example I have the Bose 700 but I only use them in the evening because they’re great for ANC and music but no way I’d use them for multiple calls and still use the Evolve 65 or another wired headset.
@@TechOutAdam Thank you so much for your quick reply! I really appreciate it and you have helped me a tonne with your answers to both questions. I have one more query if you don't mind. Sticking to the budget of the Evolve 40/Blueparrott 350 XT, do you think there are any other headsets that I should be considering? Cheers!
Jake Hunt Hmm, maybe they Blackwire 5220 because that’s a great headset for computer use as well. Man it was tough because I had to actually grab them and think about it! Especially with my real world usage of what got the job done best.
@@TechOutAdam Me again! Sorry, I know I said only one more but I've just come across the Plantronics Encorepro hw520 and I'm wondering where you think that comes amongst the likes of the Jabra Evolve 40/Blackwire 5220/Blueparrott 350 XT? Cheers
Hey Adam! Thanks for the videos. From your experience, which is the best headset/headphones if my only criteria is best microphone for coffee shop phone calls? Thanks.
If wired (which will always have the best mic quality), any of the Plantronics Blackwire 5200 Series. If bluetooth for best mic quality and connection, I got to give it to the Jabra Evolve 65.
@@TechOutAdam Thanks! So the 65 mic will cancel background noise better than the 75? And in your experience, that is better than Bose 700, AirPod Pro, or Voyager 8200?
@@guitarplaya1026 For me when it comes to the microphone and what I tested, the Jabra Evolve 65 is best for calls in a coffee shop because it blocks out the most noise and has the strongest connection. From what I heard with Air Pods Pro, takes in too much background noise. The Bose 700 are intriguing, but I have tried any of those in a coffee shop test. I can do a review of the Jabra Evolve 65 too!
Hey Adam! I work at home but my problem is about my dog whenever it barks. Which of these can you recommend? This headset, Plantronics Blackwire 5200, or Jabra Evolve 40? And btw, which do you think has the better noise cancellation mic; Jabra 65 or Plantronics Blackwire 5200? Your reply would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Out of the Blackwire 5200 vs. Evolve 40 I’d go with the Evolve 40. I think it makes your voice sound more pronounced. The Evolve 65 is better for Bluetooth as well. That mic is still one of the strongest I’ve used.
Kitoyskie Absolutely that was a great question! I’m always debating that too but in real testing making thousands of calls for what I do the mic must be on point.
@@TechOutAdam I asked this question because when I play a game on my pc, I always prefer to keep game audio and chat audio separate. LOL I don’t want to have a hard time hearing my friends talk while there’s a loud gunshot in the background when playing shooting games.
3200 series or 5220 series, not sure if you know how this compare to bose 700, I know bose cost more, just thinking about the mic quality, thanks for the great video.
Hi thanks for the video. I have a quick question, what headphones would you recommend for online lessons and for listening to music so, good sound and mic with noise isolation under 100$?
Hello. Can we use this Poly Plantronics in android handphone? If the answer is yes, can you tell me how?
Hello sir, my c3210 worked fine on two different computers at work but the microphone didn't work at home. Any ideas for troubleshooting? Thank you

I mean the Bose 700 microphones sound great for an overall feature packed headset but it's nowhere near a wired boom mic headset like this.
