A few weeks after i bought a Mugen Civic I came across an 08’ k24a2 Said why not, payed $200 longblock no tranny Been my insurance for when my k20 goes night night Best $200 $pent
Good stuff, I really enjoy watching this series. I also have gotten lucky exactly the same way with new inventory being stocked while I was at the junkyard working on pulling something else. Keep it up!
First time i ever scored was a 94 ex coupe. Employee got dibs on the ecu but i got the electric door, dashboard, hood, fender, front bumper, and manual shift console. It was milano red just like my eg hatch so the electric door were definitely a score. Shortly after i scored a 95 gsr integra for $900 and swapped that into my hatch
Is that swap for the how to race like a girl series? 😀 waiting on hasport to drop them 84-87 mounts got my k20a3 last week gunna mate to ep3 5spd later this week. This video was like anime mastermind logic of yarding.
Anyone know if I can swap a k20 head on a 2008 crv k24z block reason I’m asking is because the junkyard has a crv and I can get the motor for 140 bucks
The small details will vary from car to car, but generally you will need the manual transmission, flywheel, flywheel bolts, clutch and pressure plate, clutch master cylinder/line/slave cylinder, clutcb pedal assembly, gas/brake assembly, shift linkage to transmission and brackets, shift lever in car and possibly interior console. If you want it to look nice then also the instrument cluster. And if you want to avoid all sorts of wiring hacks, the under dash cabin harness from the manual car also.
I can sense the intensity in these yard videos. First come first serve, time is money

Love the junkyard vids. Make them longer lol
We have many that go into detail. We’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to record and edit.
Great work, keep it up!
I just subscribed 🎉good stuff
Still hoping to come across a TSX in one of my local yards. Hoping to do a budget k24 swap in my first Gen CL next year.
