Love this video, can't tell you how many times I've been waiting for somebody to stop looking at the thing I want to look at. And of course they always take forever for some reason
My Black and Decker hammer drill finally gave out after 23 years of twice a year use... Your video on the bauer came up as I am looking to replace mine... and so far I have only seen good reviews. For concrete you need a corded drill especially when you are boring 1/2 holes . Great video and demonstation!!!!
perfectreview and a big help! my house came with a crappy garden hose holder, and I need to drill 4 holes for a retractable upgraded one, and I didn't want to spend more than I had to. I grabbed this to finish the job today with some masonry bits from harbor freight. Thanks !

Wow, the best review I've seen of this drill. Thanks, I ended up getting it, and it works really well. For $30 dollars, you can't beat it. ( I also used a coupon). The fact that it's corded doesn't bother me at all. Personally I think corded it better for tools like hammer drills, just for the fact it's continually running when your drilling. Anyway Great Video.

Six foot cord is for not stepping on and unplugging drill. Back in the day cords were 12 to 15 feet like drywall screw guns.
The cord will be 1' long once its gone through the HF tool cord fraying cycle and repair before the tool gives out 😃

That looks like the good concrete, lots of good aggregate. Not like the soft stuff they have today. Drill did a good job.
The Bulldog would have zip thur that concrete.
Needless to say.. I'd buy one.👍
Bro I ether cut my cords to six inches or replace with a 50’ depending on how often I use the tool lol
If you have a Bosch Bulldog then why didn't you use that instead of buying a new cheaper hammer drill?
Mentioned why in the beginning of the video. The bulldog is several hours away at a second property. Cheaper to buy this instead of fuel and toll costs to retrieve the bulldog.

I’m building a small platform deck off the side door of my house. Need to secure it to the concrete foundation…..so I’m in a similar “need a cheap hammer drill” situation. The Bauer happens to be on sale this weekend at $30 so I’m picking one up. Thanks for the practical review.
How did this work out for you? This video had me sold but now I'm seeing lots of stuff saying I MUST use a rotary to get into a concrete slab. How'd the Bauer do??
@@PB-bh7gr typical Harbor Freight-it did the job pretty well. I wouldn’t choose it for regular daily work but it was worth $30 to me.
