  • A short review of Habro Freight Bauer 7.5 Amp Drill/Driver. This is a product that I bought and paid for. I am in no way being compensated for this review. I have owned this drill for several months and have done a couple of jobs with it. See what I think of it in this review.

    I got the Warrior drill first. Didn't like it was single speed. It was OK for lighter use and fine for smaller screw holes in masonry. But killed the motor quick drilling some bore holes in wood. Just didn't have enough torque so it went up in smoke. Should have got the Bauer from the get go.

    Could this go in solid rock tho. Is the drill powerful enough for solid rock

      Truthfully I'm not sure. The concrete I was drilling was old stuff which is usually pretty hard in the center.

    Can it drill through steel / metal?

      It does function as a regular drill but I find it a bit high speed for that. You can feather the trigger a little to help with that.

    The bit looked a little wobbly.

      It might have just looked like that because of the hammer action. It drills nice straight holes which you wouldn't get if the bit wobbled.

      Would it work with a 1/4 inch masonry drill bit?

      @@morocknroll1007 yes. I think I was using a 3/8" in the video but I have 1/4" for it too.
