Great!!!! Amazing!!! I am 71 y.o. and i have my guitar from two months.....your lessons are between the best lessons on web. Thank you very much. I discovered Rockabilly music from few weeks and i love It .
Seriously, thanks. Your first easy licks video broke something loose for me. I've only been playing for a year, was playing all the same stuff over and over. Then I practiced those first licks, and it was like everything I learned fell into place. Not like I'm suddenly a virtuoso or anything but I'm having a ton of fun and improvising stuff that actually sounds like music. Really appreciate it.
Man am I glad you were in my recommendations. I never knew I wanted to play rockabilly till I saw your channel and Damien baccis, but my god do I love it. Keep up the great videos
Played guitar for a while, and needed some inspiration so bought a second hand Gretsch ,found DEATHRAYCAT and bingo, can't put the thing down, thank you. Keep up the great work.
Wouaw you transmit with a disconcerting and relaxed ease a knowledge certainly "mystified 😭😭" by guitarists who want to keep everything secret. These 4 licks allow every one to understand improvisation on rockabilly pieces and have fun. A big thank-you.
Great Lesson !! Like your explanations and demonstrations.. Hope you keep sharing the you tube videos. Thanks !! From Sunny Arecibo, Puerto Rico 😁🌴🥥🎸🇵🇷
Hey! Just wanted to say thank you! Been playing guitar for years and no word of a lie my guitar playing improved massively in about thirty minutes thanks to this video.
Great lesson for beginners, Been playing rock, metal guitar for sometime but want to learn other genre like Rockabilly, it sounds cool. Thanks for this, your a great teacher. subscribed!😊
Great lessons, love all this stuff also 60’s garage and Billy Childish’s bands, it’s cool to refresh on the easier stuff. I used to play in a band in a prison and we did some old surf instros and also Troubled Times by Mighty Caesars. Very cool stuff 😎
Thank you from Madrid (Spain) for this tutorial!!! I love this sound but my skills are not good enough yet to play on this mood. Now with this great tutorial I think will be able to improve!!! Thank you again
Hi thanks a lot Robert! Yeah the electromatic tier and above has access to all the tabs and Patreon videos as well as any backing tracks. I’m about to add a bunch more backing tracks too! Cheers! 🍻
@@DEATHRAYCAT Cool. I hear that! I'm looking to get a new Gretsch. Thinking 6120 or maybe something else. So many nice pro models. Which 6120 do you have?
Thanks Nico , learning alot from your lessons , always fun things to enjoy on the guitar. Just wanted to ask if Gretsch guitars are heavy or light in weight? They sound great , ideal for the rockabilly sound.
Hi Rajesh! Glad you’re enjoying the lessons! It depends on the model how heavy they are. I find the hollow bodies to be not too heavy but not super light either. 💪
Thanks so much! Well done for picking up the instrument and learning a new skill, I hope you find as much enjoyment from it as I do. I have been playing for around 25 years 😮 but you will see improvements every day if you practice and hopefully will enjoy the process!
Would you agree that greatch necks are the best one day I'm getting a white falcon I had a nice 50 something my fiend wanted the guitar I sold it to him it never bothered me that I sold it to him he helped me out a lot..🎉I
Great lesson. It would be good to teach the right hand too. It looks like you’re finger picking. Also you’re using a lot of syncopation. It would be good to teach the rockabilly rhythm and groove by explaining the rhythms you’re using in your right hand.
Great!!!! Amazing!!!
