Best act on the night. Please note that Adam isn’t trying to be ‘like Freddie.’ I’ve seen Queen + Adam Lambert live and he announced during the concert that he’s not trying to imitate or best Freddie…he’s a great singer in his own right.

I will never not wish that was Freddie there singing instead, but at the same time well done Queen and Adam for making sure the death of Freddie Mercury did not mean the death of Queen. Good performance, and probably the best choice out there for a vocalist for the post-Freddie era of Queen.
I remember seeing Adam for the first time when he sang Whataya Want From Me, and I was like "look mom, a goth singer" hahahaha and now I see him here

Spectacular. They were perfect to open the whole show. I love their whole set. The beginning with the drums and Adam Lambert at the gates of Buckingham Palace - wow! Whoever thought of that, well done! And then Brian rising on that platform - great visual! This song is always so full of joy, and then the last song We Are the Champions was simply amazing - nobody sings that song like Adam Lambert, he is a phenomenal singer!

Oh gosh after all these years they still are so amazing to listen to and watch.
I mean just look at Bryan May and Roger Taylor! They still have the old fashioned look and energy, I love it! And props to Adam Lambert for being such a good frontman on Queens side, especially not replacing Freddie in a negative way but remaining the legacy of Queens music

Watched this with my five year old and he was singing along to We Will Rock you I felt to proud when he said I like this song" I was not even one when Freddie passed away but thankfully my dad introduced me to the best music and I will certainly carry on to do the same as my boy get older.

They just are in the middle of 36 concerts in Europe and a 10 days concerts in the 02 in London, to more than 2 million fans and play in the Jubilee for billions. More bitter now of their huge success and popularity?
