I came across one clip of Adam Lambert/Queen, and long story short, this is my 7th or 8th video of them. Freddie was a phenomenon , but the perfect balance Adam strikes between honouring the legend and taking control of the music is astonishing. Flawless!
I love how Adam makes it a point to not overstep the original legends. He always slips aside when it is their moment to be seen. That’s respect worthy.
@@tunnelkeenan Rodgers was a failure. He couldn’t sing all the songs in their catalogue like Adam can so easily. There were some he never even attempted. He didn’t have the vocal range. Brian said it didn’t work out because Queen’s music was too eclectic for his voice. And concert attendance was way down with him, so they weren’t as successful as their sold out ones with Adam. I watched a full concert and he sang quite a few Bad Company songs, probably as a fill in for Queen songs he couldn’t handle. Who wants to go to a Queen concert and hear that? They heard Adam, loved his voice so much they actually waited 2 years for him while he did his own solo stuff. And, guess what happened?, Queen was reborn with Adam and have become more popular and successful as they’ve ever been. So what does this tell you? It tells me they definitely made the right choice and the very best choice.

I saw Queen with Adam about three years ago and it was the best concert ever. Adam is high energy and very entertaining.
