    Great work Larry. Definitely dont waste any time on the miserable haters who call the internet home. These are not men, they cant even like themselves so do give it a second.

    I love the way Wildwood Jeb ran that night. His chestnut coat gleaming under the lights was done no justice by the old footage to be sure. I can only imagine the feeling you must have had as he crossed the wire with a neck advantage. Thanks to you both, peace.

    Larry - people point to race fixing when it’s chump change compared to the price fixing that takes place everyday in the equities markets - thanks for pointing out the lives within the paddock.

    Larry we are all victims of circumstance at some point in our lives. I hold no ill feelings for what you did. I’m sure there’s guilt but no regret. Love the podcast thank you for sharing. 🏇🏻

    Interesting about Jeb running down. I never had a harness horse do that. When I went over to the thoroughbreds in the 1990s, I never had one of mine rundown either, mainly, I think, because I kept their back angles at 55 degrees and their toes as short as possible. Most running horse platers don't know what an angle gauge is, unlike the harness farriers. They seem to love the low heel, long toe trim.

    Question ask by the viewer does not understand the horse business, what Larry did was going on long before he got there and is still going on today. I have been around the business and it is a hustle from top to bottom. It' just part of the business it is built into it. I love Larry's stories keep em coming sir.

      Thank you for your response and comment. I answer all questions that are asked of me, therefore I answer in terms that non-horsemen or track goers can understand. I try anyway.

    I know you said recently that you fixed a lot of races at Aqueduct, belmont, and Saratoga. We're they all cheap claiming races? We're there any big Graded Stakes races that would be notable? Thanks, always a good show.

      I created and set-up the system. Then sent Tony Ciulla and Con Errico to execute. No type race was off limits. It was all up to the jockeys. The ones that took the money were the races we fixed.

      @@LarryRolla It was a long time ago, and I barely remember any of it , but I went to the trial of those guys in the Bklyn Courts, just out of interest . Was a serious horseplayer at the time. What a game.

    Instead of whining about Marty tannenbaum, after being barred from Yonkers raceway, you could have went to the thoroughbred side. They'll take anybody. Just look at Bob baffert

    You Wasted 15 minutes talking about some Losers Feelings , Tell Us The Stories Of All The Slickest Betters ,Luckiest Guys ,and Gangsters That’s What We Want To Hear ..

    • @LarryRolla
      @LarryRolla  Год назад +1

      The first half of the 15 minutes was answering a viewer's question the same way I'm answering yours. The second half was addressing the complete lack of respect, caring and help to jockeys and harness drivers that gave their lives putting on the show. Now as far as the slickest betters and I knew them all, I have to say the best was myself. I was the only one that took the gamble out of gambling. The luckiest guys were the bookmakers. The gangsters back in the 1940s, 50s, 60s 70s and 80s were involved in everything including horse racing. Some I've talked about already and some will be coming. If this answer is not what you wanted to hear, be more specific. Thanks for watching...
