    Great intro humor! Making it yours! For such short time on the N you're already adapted to its feel. You laid down quite a result in the basin where few could go. Impressive. 😀

      Due to EPA restrictions, the carbureted Z model was discontinued, leaving only the N for the Kubota gas option, the most powerful engine in the lineup.

    Back in my late 20’s I used to mow the banks at a hydro electric dam with a walk behind Gravely. That machine you have is awesome

    BTW there are solid caster wheels available.

      @@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 I used 7 gallons each tire of winter windshield washer fluid. Beet juice may be better, but not a DIY proposition. I checked and centered my valve lash Saturday. TDC was easy to find with a skewer in the spark plug hold, but getting the coil bracket off exposed the timeing marks anyway. My valve cover gasket was toast.

    Is the N substantially better than the P?

    • @bluecordprecisiongrading2504
      @bluecordprecisiongrading2504  5 месяцев назад

      The "only" difference is the engine. The P has a liquid cooled Kawasaki V Twin, a really good engine with 31 Horsepower...BUT the N is the top of the line Kubota 3 cylinder fuel injected engine with 33 HP. The Kubota is a purpose built engine for industrial use. You can also get the Z which is the same Kubota 3 cylinder but carbureted

    • @beauhaworth9060
      @beauhaworth9060 5 месяцев назад

      Blue cord, I suppose as better question I should have asked is can YOU feel the difference of power between the 2? You have tons of first hand knowledge and the feel of it first hand

    Why are you carrying a gun as a mowing guy?. Let me guess it’s your right?

    • @bluecordprecisiongrading2504
      @bluecordprecisiongrading2504  9 месяцев назад +4

      Wrong guess. For one, I'm NOT a mowing guy. I don't cut grass for a living. Cutting drain basins is only a small part of what I now do in this chapter of my life. In fact, I'm retired from the Army. By the time 9/11 occurred I already had 10 years in and I volunteered for operations against the terrorist cells inside of the Continental US using intel from the FBI and CIA. You probably didn't know that ever happened but it did. That's why I carry, because I've seen things and I know things. Bad things happen to good people and after my career I'm always ready. I've been asked many times to write a book about it. Maybe someday I will

    • @Spiderman50505
      @Spiderman50505 9 месяцев назад

      One thing I have always done is never assume you know someone, and that comes with being in law enforcement now going for 25 years. Firstly I knew your background, and secondly I was correct in saying it’s your right to carry as stated in your constitution. The thing is you’re living in the states and for some reason you guys carry guns while doing everyday things, in Australia it takes a very long and comprehensive check system to allow anyone to obtain a firearms licence let alone a gun. If anyone is carrying a gun in public that’s not law enforcement you’re in big trouble. Anyway I respect what you’ve done in the past and enjoyed the video.

    • @bluecordprecisiongrading2504
      @bluecordprecisiongrading2504  9 месяцев назад +1

      I'm glad to hear that you were former law enforcement but frankly I'm surprised that someone with your background would make an initial comment like that, especially considering your knowledge of my background. I don't talk much about it on my channel, but as a former Tier 3 Operator, I am highly trained in many areas. Everywhere I've lived, I am known by law enforcement as an asset. If things get really bad, they know they can quick call me, pick me up and I'll save them a lot of paperwork. Heck, I have a fighting position ready to go that looks down the dead end road that comes up to my house. Even though "it's my right", I'm also a part of a very small group of the US population that's an estimated .001% or One in every 350,000 Americans who have my level of training. I've more than earned that right. @@Spiderman50505

      Were you also aware, my military career aside, that 2 very close friends and my cousin, a retired Air Force Fighter Pilot, in 2 unconnected homicides in different states, were all brutally murdered at their homes? Both of these tragedies are searchable on the internet. Mike Kitchen and Heidi Pratt were my good friends when I lived in Northern Maine and my cousin, Major Dennis Fink. Three senseless acts of brutal violence that could have been prevented. Before Mike and Heidi were killed, I was ready to put my sidearm away...that changed things for me
