    Great job with the video and not overdoing the music. I liked the way you sped up the video on some parts, yet kept it at normal speed in others. The Ventrac is certainly an amazing machine, versatile, compact, powerful, and very maneuverable.

    That thing is an absolute beast. Expensive as all get out but a beast an certain project I can’t think of another smaller machine that leaves virtually no footprint that would do the same thing. It just seems to me like everything you add on these machines add another $500 to canopy is $800. The extra wheels are $1100 even the front wheels on the rough cut are like $800 so like my goodness man, it’s a great machine. I love your videos. Thank you.

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri

      Yeah it's an animal! And they keep getting more and more expensive! I think they are around $30k-$33k now just for the tractor. 😳 But they can sure get out there and make you some money. It's really in a class of it's own. You can take it anywhere and when you finish up, you won't even be able to tell a machine has been on it. Such a light footprint no matter the conditions. I want more attachments, but gotta save up for them. Like you said, they are expensive! Maybe someday I will have more attachments to show you all what they can do. But the Tough Cut is the go to attachment right now. Very solid piece! Thanks again for watching. I really appreciate your support here on the channel. Have a great day!

    You could flip up your ROPS and put a small snatch block and one at the end of your tuff cut and pull it up easy with a little 1/4 or 3/8" rope, keep the whole rig in a small canvas bag on the mower, or if you really wanted to get fancy get the smallest 4-wheeler winch. Happy cuttings 🙂

    Seeing cuts like this get me wondering what if you also had a mini- excavator with a rotary cutter head, like either a mulcher head or smaller bushhog style cutter attachment. So that you could use the ventrac for the majority of the cutting and then come back to over the edge cut with the mini. Would that be worth the expense to you or is that just not on the horizon at the moment?
    None the less, really got back good footage of yard that got lost to grow up. Looks spectacular at the end there.

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri
      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  7 месяцев назад

      That would be awesome to have a mini-ex to extend out over the water. The Ventrac makes a boom sickle mower, but I have no plans to get one. I don't think I could find enough work for it. But it's definitely an option for those that want to go that route. Appreciate you watching!

    A guy I used to know in Dalton, GA would use an out front cutter on a skid steer - after about 2 back-spraining episodes of barb wire/chicken wire and lifting the deck…(hydraulic lift not an option on this set up) he bolted on a 4’ upright piece of structural steel; then attached a block and tackle that hooked to the front of the deck. If an obstruction or tangle caused a need to bring the deck up he just pulled on the line and it eased up with little effort.
    Told me it saved all kinds of time and muscle…
