    Hey Josh. Thanks a lot for these useful videos. I had done my whole TOEFL prep from your RUclips channel and I really appreciate all the work you have put into it!!!. Thanks a ton. I scored a score of 109 (R:29, L:29, S:24, W:27). These marks are more than enough for my needs.

    Hello Mighty God of the TOEFL, thank you. You have been my biggest source of information and help in my journey on getting a 98/120 on the TOEFL. 27-reading, 30-listening, 18-speaking and 23-writing. I had just a busy month to prepare and the score is enough for what I needed, so I am happy with the results. Also, since passing, I received a lot of questions on how I prepared and your channel is the first thing I recommend to everyone. Take care

    The people in the samples sound like they are reading a response they actually spent several minutes composing. They don't pause, they don't stumble, they don't correct themselves or lose their train of thought, which are all things that will happen to a real person who has to summarize (even in their native language) a huge amount of information that has literally only just been dumped on them in the span of one minute. Maybe you get better at it with practice - I'm going to try - but right now I feel like this section of TOEFL is asking for a bit too much.

Your lessons took me straight to 117 - with a 7 point increase in speaking, from 23 to 30. Thanks a ton! Especially for the speaking templates (they work like magic) and speaking mistake review videos. The mock tests with answers were really good for practice too, with both, difficulty and trick answers similar to that of the real TOEFL. Keep up the good work! Love from India

    Thank you very much for explaining how to address speaking question one. I do agree that it is important to provide a clear statement with two strong reasons and relevant examples. Here is my speaking response to the same question.
    I would prefer to have the same job my entire life for two reasons (personal preference):
    Firstly, I would be able to master all of the necessary job-related skills, and this would make my job significantly easier than ever before (reason 1). For example, I would start working as a builder in a small firm under the supervision of experienced colleagues (relevant example). By working with them all the time, I would learn how to build high-quality houses and make a lot of customers happy (the benefit of this approach).
    Secondly, I would have a higher chance of being promoted because of my newly acquired skills (reason 2). Referring back to the previous example, I might learn how to operate big construction machinery, which might help me be promoted to a senior position (relevant example).
    By contrast, switching from one job to another might deprive me of the benefits mentioned above (show the lack of the benefits indicated above).

    Thank you for your help during my preparation to take the TOEFL online. I took the emergency crash course and I just have a comment on the speaking part that I believe was not clearly explained in your course and that is the fact that in the speaking section (for the online version) you are only allowed to speak for exactly the allowed time, for example 60 sec, which might finish in the middle of a sentence or idea and that is very distracting and I was not expecting it. Anyway just in case you should mention it so your trainees know what to expect in that case.

      Hi there and thank you for asking. You have to contact the school of your choice in order to find out their requirements. Each school will have different admission criteria.

    hi sir can u tell me about the level of the toefl test[ hard, medium]

    • @TSTPrep
      @TSTPrep  24 дня назад

      It depends on who you ask, but relatively speaking, TOEFL iBT is a pretty challenging test. Most students will need at least a B2 level to get a decent score. However, everything will depend on what score you need to get. Each school different has admission criteria.

    It has 2 independent questions, doesn’t it? Why is there only one independent question ?!

    • @TSTPrep
      @TSTPrep  8 месяцев назад

      On the actual TOEFL iBT test, there are 4 speaking tasks and only one of them is an independent question.

    any reliable websites to get free speachg graidng and feedback instantly?

      One site I often recommend these days is ELSA Speech Analyzer. I wouldn't trust their TOEFL mock score, but it is a great way to get feedback on your speaking. The best part is that you can upload up to 30 minutes of speech for free.

    Is it okay for us to leave out 4 sec of ending in speaking oart

    • @TSTPrep
      @TSTPrep  10 месяцев назад

      Good question. In general, four seconds is a little too much. Remember part of your grade is based on the total number of words you say, so it is always better to speak until you are cut off or find a natural endpoint with two seconds or less.

      Hi there and rest assured you are not alone. There are plenty of students who, like you, struggle with the Speaking section. Our favorite quote here at TST Prep is, "The more you know, the less you fear." Visit our site for useful tips and practice resources. If you need additional help, I would recommend meeting with one of our TOEFL Speaking teachers for a speaking evaluation. This 30-minute call was designed to give students like you feedback on their strengths and weaknesses.

    • @TSTPrep

      Thank you for commenting. Much depends on your current ability level. You can't get a high score with just a basic level of English. In general, when students are at a lower level of proficiency and need a high score on the TOEFL (80+), they should work on the basics of English first. I would suggest investing time in a site like LingQ where you can do some extensive practice that is not connected to the TOEFL, that way you can build your skills and vocabulary with text that is a little bit easier before moving ahead with the TOEFL. www.lingq.com/

      Hi there and thank you for commenting. We have mixed opinions about our tests, some people find them easier, others find them more difficult than the TOEFL iBT, but in general, it's the same level of difficulty.
