You always bring an umbrella with you. The weather is unpredictable and it will suddenly rain or you use it to protect from scorching heat from the sun.
Now that is a pro tip. We should not have been without one ☔️ Thanks for sharing 🙌
Currently, Randy’s Donuts has established its presence in only three countries in Asia: the Philippines, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.

The Spanish culture and architecture is scattered across the archipelago not only in Manila :) Our main language, Filipino a.k.a Tagalog is composed of 30% Spanish and 70% native language. Spanish was a national language until it was abolished in the 70s. We were colonized by Spain for 333 years, this was much longer than some of the latin American countries. Intramuros was the seat of government, education, and business during colonial times. Thank you for visiting the Philippines! You are welcome here, mabuhay!!
Thank you for the warm welcome and for sharing this information. We are always fascinated to learn more about the countries we visit 🙌🇵🇭💛
Thank You for Visiting the Philippines and Enjoy the Filipino Culture and Food Mabuhay
The jeepney reminded us so much of the songthaew we rode in Chiang Mai, such a fun way to get around! We are mind-blown to learn of how densely populated the Philippines is. Comparing it to California was just 🤯
Also, so cool to learn about your family history. That is something Adam has wanted to do for so long!
Thanks guys 🙌 It's such a fun way to get around and you get to meet all of the wonderful locals 💛 And the population density vs. area left us speechless. It sounds like an impossible statistic.
And that is awesome to hear of Adam's interest. It has been so fun and informative for us to go through this process 👨👩👧👦🌳
Nice enjoy your stay in the Philippines, God bless you always
New subs here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤

Thank you so much for this well done video! Indeed, Rizal Park and Intramuros are in Manila. You are among the more responsible vloggers here who do research and know their craft. So many other vloggers here call everything "Manila" even if they are actually in a different city in the NCR (Metro Manila). They should follow your example. Great work, guys!
Aww, thanks for the awesome comment, it means a lot 🙌

6:16 Just wanna clear it out, the numbers are not the same, we have our own number system in our own language. but you will notice some vendors would use spanish numbers because they're quicker to say; for example, the number 2 is "dalawa" in Filipino but in Spanish, "dos" is easier and quicker to say
love from india for Philippines

This is actually an amazing video 💙 You covered tons in short video! When was this trip? The reclaimed land you showed in your video: the government has suspended all 22 reclamation projects in Manila Bay pending a review of their compliance with environmental regulations, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
Omg you look like your grandma😊
How about going to BGC and paying tribute to the most beautiful American soldier's cemetery in the world.
Very serene and you learn history.
Great recommendation, thanks for sharing that with us 🙌
Don't forget to visit BGC, McKinley Hill & Ayala Makati. If you are from the US, an American Cemetery inside the BGC is a must to visit, maybe some of your relatives in WW2 were there buried too.

Wow, these are amazing tips, thank you for sharing 🙌 Manila is such a big place so we really appreciate you letting us know about places like this 🇵🇭
Every country has a bad part of town. So please be very extra careful where you venture out in the Philippines 😇! I'm a filipino enjoying my retirement here in my country the Philippines who worked and lived in Texas, USA for 35 years! As a person, i know unfortunate situations happens. So my advice is if possible is to know where safe and secured places are. Just like in america, for example .. if i was to go to New York like in harlem, bronx or L.A, California places like Skid Row etc .. i could get robbed, car jacked or shot 😳! So please be very aware and careful. Places where it's safe to hangout from my experience here in the Philippines are .. BGC, Makati, Eastwood, Ayala and other safe places 😇👍❤️! Avoid ragged out places if all possible 😇! Welcome to the Philippines and enjoy your stay and the peoples friendliness and hospitality and thank you for choosing the Philippines for your adventure❤️👍!
Enjoy your stay in Philippines..
Try to Visit ILoilo and Experience Dinagyang Festival.. Esplanades and Festive walk Megaworld.
Every Americans visiting the Philippine should visit the Manila American Cemetery and Corrigidor Island. The site that full of American history. And lot more outside the capital..
I probably visit the Philippines one day
New subscriber here😊
Love this vlog..watching from san francisco ca . Welcome to the philippines. Fastfood breakfast there are done by 10 am just fyi. Be safe aways
Thank you for the awesome words and for watching from San Francisco 🙌 And great tip on breakfast, it is our favorite meal and we try not to miss it 😀
@@ThePassportCouple he sat on the estribo (jeepney steps) i thought it’s bawal already ( bawal-not allowed, prohibited)
breakfast tip: go to a place with pandesal ( breakfast rolls) my fav are tapsilog, adsilog, longsilog and bangsilog with vinegar dip on the side.
And also you did max’s, thats a good start. Thanks
Wait till you see the white sand beaches, explore the cold weather of the north
i hope you visit also bgc and makati area
Buckle up a jeepney ride is an adventure in itself. particularly if you're a foreigner. Stay safe as always. 😅👍
YOu may also wanna check out the Manila-American cemetery in BGC, Taguig for some beautiful, historical site. Just be discreet with the camera upon entering the gate, the guards usually allow videos / photos taken but not for commercial use, but still a lot of people take videos while they're on the ground.Hope you can check it out since it may be of significance to you since you're Americans.
Wow, that is such a thoughtful recommendation, thank you so much 🙌 And thanks for the tip on the cameras, we always want to be respectful to the places we are visiting 🇵🇭💛
Yes you must visit Amrican cemetery in BGC and Venice grand canal@@ThePassportCouple
Rizal has a lot of monuments around the world.
that actually illegal to sit outside of the jeepney in the city its not a law but more like unspoken rule if you are willing to risk its up to you
Come visit siargao island, camiguin island, gigantes island, kalangaman island, siqujor island and romblon tablas island. It’s more fun in the Philippines.
nice vloggers😊😍🤩
Have fun ma'am... From istanbul.....
Thank you so much, we will 😀 And thank you for watching all the way from Istanbul 🙌
The U.S. has a lot of influence on the Philippines and the Filipinos. Filipinos love American culture more than any other cultures outside of their own, and American English is their preferred form of English.
When going to old district of Manila better ride LRT. If you want to go to mega business districts like Makati and BGC ride the MRT
Try carabao cheese its soo delicious
No, the spanish went and stayed all over the country not just in Manila.
Cool
so funny you said designated cashier hehe. cool
It's the only place where 'rush hour' isn't just a time; it's a full-contact sport, and the only race worth running is for the last piece of lechon at the local eatery. I suddenly just remembered the time I spent in Manila while filming one of our TV show episode!
