How will I feel during radiation treatment? In this short video, Richard J. Lee, M.D., explains how you'll feel during your radiation treatment and if you'll be able to drive following treatment.
“A question I get a lot is ‘how will I feel during radiation treatment, and will I be able to drive?’” says Dr. Lee.
“Depending on where the patient is being treated will largely dictate how they will be feeling. However, the vast majority of patients should be able to continue drive themselves. There are a few instances where certain patients may require additional medications that may prevent them from driving.”
“So typically when you are looking for a radiation oncologist, you would ideally have someplace close to your home or have someone that could potentially drive you if necessary.”
