I had 4 SABR Radiation Treatments for Localised 4+3 Prostate Cancer back in March… My PSA was at 9.. Now as of September it’s 1.2. The recent CT scan comment was “In Remission “. I’m 65 years old. The whole process was very professional with great staff.. In Australia at Genesis Care. I was booked in for Removal Surgery but after my own research I chose Radiation at the last minute.. So far I’m glad I made a last minute decision! Side affects were fairly minimal and was back Surfing straight away 😁The follow Up care is good with booked in appointments every 3 months..

I had 20 fractions of salvage RT 3 years after my RARP. PSA started rising and hit 0.33. 5 weeks afterwards my PSA was “undetectable”. Result!👍

The “decision” also lies in the “standard of care” offered by the hospital or institution. If you ask for something to be done outside of their “standard of care”, they will not treat you, even though another hospital or institution will treat you.

Would appreciate hearing your thoughts on MRI LINAC. Do you think this will be the future gold standard in high dose radiation delivery?

Surely prostate treatment is free? I have just completed successful treatment here in Ireland for p.c. and everything was free

I’m sure there is something wrong with my prostate, but without insurance I won’t know for sure until it’s too late.

So sorry for that. It’s a sorry place when we have money to spend and send weapons to destroy and kill but not on our own people’s health…I hope you find a way to get care.

Are you American? Try getting over to Canada/Europe somehow.

It’s probably how you prioritize to spend your money. Probably you prioritize your iPhone, your car, your home, etc. higher than yiur healthcare. People spend hundreds of thousands dollars throughout their lives, but when it comes to their health, they don’t want to spend money, and they expect the government (I.e., taxpayers) to cover their healthcare.

@bobbrown8155 some people just don't have proper health care, he's scared and the last thing he wants to hear is a financial schlacking from Dave Ramsey Jr !!! ! Be easy my friend.

Nothing is free for working people. Those who choose not to work get many things for free.
