    Just come across this video. In its simplest form a telescope is a lens, an eyepiece a method to keep them aligned, abitity to focus and a method to point it where you want. You've proved that you dont need anything fancy to produce good results. About 40 years ago I made a 6" reflector using more or less the same materials so I can appreciate your effort.

    Hello! Excellent tutorial, this was really helpful. I have a question, I wasn't able to find the exact reducer so I bought one which has a slightly bigger hole than the 25mm pipe. I added another 25mm joint to other side (like the one used for eyepiece) so the eyepiece segment could fit in the bigger reducer hole, so is it okay that way? Also, my lens came scratched 😢. The scratch is not on the outside but in between the two lenses. Will the scratch affect the image? I haven't used it yet because the Tripod is still on the way.

    • @VinKrishSolutions
      @VinKrishSolutions  Год назад +3

      The total length of telescope (lens to lens distance) should be the sum of the focal lengths of the 2 lenses.
