I decided to watch Interview With The Vampire movie the other day, because I heard Brad Pitt was in it. Brad Pitt is my favorite actor, but I'd never seen a Brad Pitt movie before. Infact, I never even knew what he looked like before I saw Interview with The Vampire. I just knew that there was an actor called Brad Pitt and he was my favorite. It's a strong name. Brad Pitt. Brad. Pitt. Braddd. Pittttt You can imagine my surprise when I actually SAW the movie, and I saw him acting in the movie and he was not, in fact, a hole in the ground named Brad, but was an actual living breathing person actually PRETENDING (or "acting" as it's apparently called) to be a vampire. You can also imagine my surprise when I discovered that he played alongside a man called Tom Cruise in that film. Now, whenever I had heard ads for films, and the narrator said "SEE TOM CRUISE IN MISSION IMPOSSIBLE" I'd always thought that "Cruise" was a synonym for the verb "to act". So it turns out that instead of their being an actor who was only ever credited as "Tom", one whose style of acting was so smooth, so electric, so easygoing that he didn't just appear in a piece of film, he "Cruised" through it, there's this actual guy named TOM CRUISE. That's the day I realized I was Dunst with watching movies.
Because the vicious vampire he played was a mummy who had fortified his inner self and lost all desire to spend time with a fun and engaging person. No need to repeat that...
There's nothing quite like 90s cinema, there are so many beautiful shots in this film especially when it come to shooting the sun a director these days wouldn't even try.

This movie was so nostalgic... When I was a kid, my mind always starts to remember the line "I want some more.." of Claudia (played by Kirsten Dunst) just like from 2:02, every time I watch it... And that line talks about "blood" If I am not mistaken... And after more than 25 years, honestly I started to imagine that someday, the well-known and 90's popular action role-playing video game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night can be filmed wherein Brad Pitt could portray "Alucard" & Tom Cruise could portray "Richter Belmont".... Because for me, Brad & Tom could "fit" the characters Alucard and Richter who are actually same vampires... I wish that there could be a chance for that thoughts...

I’ll bet a lot of you are saying that they’ve got to make a sequel to this movie. Well, it turns out that they did, well sort of. In 2002, Warner Bros. released a film adaptation of the third book, “The Queen of the Damned”, which also incorporates elements from the second novel, “The Vampire Lestat”. The film stars Stuart Townsend replacing Tom Cruise as Lestat and the late Aaliyah as the title character, Akasha. Unfortunately, many characters (including Brad Pitt’s Louis) and important plots to the novel were written out of the film. One of the Australian actors in the movie is Matthew Newton, who replaces Antonio Banderas as Armand. This adaptation was not well received by critics and was less successful at the box office. Anne Rice even states that she disowns this movie because it’s not faithful to her novels, so I am not interested in the 2002 adaptation. While Netflix is said to have some sort of series based on the Vampire Chronicles in the cards, I prefer a direct sequel based on the second book, “The Vampire Lestat” with Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, and others reprising their roles from 1994’s “Interview With the Vampire” a long with some famous actors playing new characters. I would also like said actors to return for a better adaptation of “Queen of the Damned”, which is more faithful to the novels.

Now this is a real classic vampire movie, not the twilight bs
1994 to 2024... 30 years since its release and still surreal to watch.
Highly recommended movie
I remember my mom telling me about this movie 5 years ago it's been a while since I've watched it.
Descanse em paz querida Anne rice você revolucionou os vampiros e assim como eles você será eterna aos nossos olhos 💓
