I bought 1 few weeks ago exact model and didn't have a clue how toast it up properly now I know best demonstration video for mi tower . other videos. have mad music on them like its some action movie good video mate
Very helpful, thank you. One question, the hire centre says the platform can only be installed every meter from 2,3,4 with overall height of 4,5,6 can you install the platform on any of the rungs e.g. 2nd or 3rd one up from wheels if you only need a hop up for some jobs
Hi mate would this height be enough to clean the roof of a one story house. I’ve ordered a 4m one my first job on Thursday and I’m worried it won’t be big enough to reach the roof?
thanks for taking the time to do this mate, I was looking into one of these but didn't have a clue how to build it. looks simple enough. do you feel safe scrapping from it even in a windy day.?
Hi thanks for watching I feel solid on these towers as long as the winds are not too bad like that storm Dudley we had I the Midlands......but its the only way I will do a roof now so much safer
Hi buddy yeah the feet are adjustable just level the bottom section off as I showed in the video and then put the out riggers out and you will be fine.
@@completeexteriorcleaningse750 perfect cheers mate! i was just wondering as i’ve hired a set for tomorrows job and was a bit worried. thanks for the prompt reply!
Thank for doing this video. I’ve got one coming on hire from HSS and could figure out their written instructions online at all. I couldn’t quite see what you did to adjust the feet near the beginning to get it level. Is that quite obvious once it’s here? Also, what do you do with the front two stabilisers if you want to be up close to a wall? I’m hiring it to paint some house windows. Thanks.
Hi yeah the feet are easy to do you just pull the wheel down the do up the coller to lock it into place. As for up close to the wall I would put 2 stabilisers at the back so the tower can't fall back away from the house the put the other 2 out 1 to the left and 1 to the right and that will be nice and stable
Can you wheel it about when its fully built? (Thinking of using it for warehouse gutter job which is 100m) Don't really want to keep putting it up taking it down.
Wow so much easier when I use to have put one up to do rendering years ago. 2 man job and you would need a hammer to put the little bars through the holes to join sections.
I put them on the top of the bottom section as long as the ground is pretty level if they max out before hitting the floor I drop them down to the next bar
Hi Michael I tend to see how the ground is as there's a max line fir the stabilisers so if you hit your max line before it touches the ground you would lower it one set of bars. The lower legs you can lift and drop then spin the locking screw round so it locks up tight. I might do another in depth video when I next Hire one
@@completeexteriorcleaningse750 thanks for that - im on job at mo and there is slight incline so tower is leaning back - see FB on freemans - i cant seem to adjust the legs - which way to lower and which way to go higher - thanks good to see your busy too
@@michaelbarry5869 Hi Michael if you pull the wheels down and then screw the collar up that will help level out the tower But do this once you build the lower section level that out once that's level and your stabilisers are out you can build up the rest of the tower

I wouldn't personally for stability reasons to be honest stick to the safest option thanks for watching and supporting the channel

What size tower is it you use ?
They say when fully built its 4m above ground level
0:18 Hi, awesome video. Can the platform be put on any of the horizontal bars? Looking at the video say about every 300mm increments? Thanks Allan
Not really you need them where I put them for Stability.

Great instructional video, seems a lot of pieces, does it fit in your van easy enough with all your other equipment?.
It's a bit of a squeeze as I now have a SWB Vivaro but I can get it in neat and tidy and still fit my GVS300 vac in too
