I can feel Tarja's love towards her Mum in this song! It's magical! Tarja sings every song with her whole soul and love! She's a wonderful person and an extremely talented singer who trains her voice every day. We can hear her vocal improvement every year.

In every live act, she is the one overshadowing everything. This is the quality of great artists. She is the alchemist's stone. She is the catalyst from which every musical coal turns to gold!
I've been very bummed, very sad. My Dad needs surgery ASAP for cancer. I couldn't sleep. Up at 4:45am and wishing I wasn't. To make a long story short, I went from heavy metal drummers to finding this song on RUclips. I bought the CD immediately for my Mom's 70th B-Day this month. She'll love it. I can't stop listening to this amazing song. A song of, and from, the heart. Lost and reborn.

i agree, while other "Stars" bluff their Fans with Autotune, Beatbox, silly Costumes and shakin' their bum, Tarja provides good feelings and Karma with her angelic Voice in soft or rocking Songs. Tarja is my favorite Singer and will probably always be.

Fading away, my arse! Turenen is expanding her repertoire and branching out. Her singing is still improving and she's covering a diverse range of muscial styles. Good luck to her. Whether or not one likes her voice, or liked her voice in Nightwish, she is technically superior to most female singers who front metal bands, even the other soprano types.
it really is sad to see people still argue over the Nightwish-Tarja thing on every new posted video. That is past, they both moved on, all of you who still argue should do that too. Stop insulting each other and grow up, it really is silly to argue about it on RUclips... Tarja is simply beautiful in this video and has a magnificent voice, I like the guitar in this song :)
Although i found the splendour of Nightwish and Tarja after the collapse of "The Juggernaut Ov Nightwish", with tarja i wouldnt of became The Pagan Metal Viking as i am now... and for that, like i been doing for so many years, Tarja's is the voice of symphonic metal, and tuomas the heart, together no one will ever replace that combination as for tarja's current project, though not completely my thing... tarja's voice will always be Krieg!!!

Oh it is so much fun to read the comments discussing Tarja's voice...I will agree that she doesn't sound like an operatic singer...HOWEVER that doesn't mean that she can't sing very well. For example....in previous discussions I've compared her to Celine Dion. Both have very extreme ranges and beautiful voices, but neither chose to stick to opera. They chose other genres to go into and perhaps to not sing the "same arias over and over."
@ArigatoraShi Totally agree with you, just couldn´t help this time. I also like this vid, the amazing atmosphere created, the stage arrengement and last but not least her outfit. Like it too, when she´s singing this song while playing the piano! Winter can come... ;)
@crimrose Agree with you and for those who still feel the absolute need to pigeonhole music, NW´s style is also called "Symphonic Metal", which describes it pretty well, I think. Concerning Tarja´s music, she generally talks about it as kind of Rock music with many different influences, Metal just being ONE of them. Think she also isn´t keen on setting herself limits musicalwise but to always remain open to new ideas and "musical experiments" what I personally appreciate a lot!
