This entire album is stunning - 12 different Ave Marias sung by Tarja. It was also recorded live in a wooden church where the organ was built into the walls - no overdubs in the studio

Yes, Michele, I have for long asked a reaction to Tarja's classical and Christmas songs, but they have never been responded to. Maybe 90% of reactions are to her End of an Era concert songs, so even NW-era reactions have a very narrow view. I think Stormchild is the only one who reacted to Tarja's Christmas songs, to a gothic theme one. Sure, many who react to Nightwish are metal fans, they don't find the idea of looking into a classical song so interesting.
I had never imagine watch a video reacting of a very classical sound in Tarjas voice, it’s so beautiful, After this I listen this song all the day and I want to listen her album!

The first time I listened to Tarja was with my buddy and our reaction to her voice was like yours he told me that she reminded him of him mom who was a classically trained singer and we watched in awe as she sang and for me it was similar feeling as I recognized the years of training and natural God given talent the emotions that she conveyed and brought this song shows even more her talent I can't wait to let him hear this the next time I go to Atlanta
My lyrical voice teacher says Tarja as super training voice, she can do many style and keep her classic toch and color of dark voice!
@@joshcavaradossi4813 i noticed that in her performances....it is simply uncanny how she is able to manipulate her larynx to sound as she did in the early years and then right back to a rich mixture of both....amazes me every time.

A fact of this album it’s the way she record every song was like she were in a concert, reading the music sheets and live chamara orchestra!

In metal music, she never singing full operatic, only in classical music and opera arias we can listen hes full operatic voice. She has classical music educadion, so she was learning how to singing operatic. If you like "Ave Maria", you should listen her album "Ave Maria - En Plein Air" where are 12 songs "Ave Maria", in this one her own song, and bonus song "Ave Maria Stella", it's really beautiful album.
I have the AM album and it's really exquisite listen her classical voice to 100% in my ears, then listen her singin metal and this little difference it's amazing!
There's a RUclips video too, where she sings several Ave Maria's in a concert.

@@joshcavaradossi4813 On every classical concerts she has microphone, but special to operatic singing, like every classical singers using. It's small microphone on tripod. Only when she singing not full operatic, only classical or lyrical technique, not operatic, she using normal microphone and holds it in hand.

alas, another one of life's great dilemmas, how to best make Kristin happy, something she so richly deserves for everything she does for us....on the whole this peace , i believe, is joy bringing and cathartic...after a week of misery this should serve to fortify your soul...
