Is that in Florida? Looks flat as a pancake. You are missing out on one of the Big DR thumpers best attributes, that is the way it climbs and pulls on steep trails and how it engine brakes on down grades. I get to do that in Idaho.
I used "permatex red rtv gasket maker high temp" on my case savers - like you I tried the stickers - but they fell off first ride. Another mod worth considering is a double bearing in the cush hub else they are prone to failure leaving you stranded needing a tow. I have a very similar setup to yours for my dr650
They are like an army Jeep nothing flash but it all works, gets you there and gets you back. Had one for a while now and I’ll just never sell it, a great bike. You can treat it like sh#t and it keeps coming back for more

Great video and set up! i have a drz 400 with a similar set up and i like your atv side tank bag. Was looking at one on Amazon but decided to stick to top tank bag for now. I got also a nelson rigg front fender pouch for spare tube and spoons too, works awesome. I am thinking of switching to this beast though. Looking at doing longer trips, not just overnighters. Still researching info on it. How is it on highways? And what gear ratio are you on? stock 15-42 or something else? cheers
No, not for my DR 650 SE. Already added bark busters, comfy seating, new mirrors. new knobby, new chain, added a center-stand, have Giant Loop Saddlebag, timber saw scabbard mount, concealed carry shotgun mount, too cold for warm weather oil renewal, my bent handlebar can stay bent .

I learned how to ride on my DR with the death wings on the flagstaff fire roads for 3,000 miles. They weren't bad. I have Conti 20/80's now tho.

Man thoose are fine mods! You have made a god setup there! Think the DR will be my next bike. I drive a Tenere today and its nice but a bit too heavy.

I have the similar peg lowering kit. I believe yours should be offset to the front and not back. I might be wrong. Idk. Hope this makes sense.
