Beautiful car, it's pretty much exactly what I want for myself some day. I really want a clean, mostly "stock", teal EG hatch with a full interior for a daily. Engine doesn't matter too much as long as it's clean and has A/C for here in Florida.

Suggest that he upgrades to a s2000 clutch master cylinder next. Looks so much cleaner and and clutch engagement is 100% smoother in my 94 cx with a b series swap.
Those Buddy club seats are some of the most comfortable seats you can buy imo. They are great if you don't want to run bucket seat.

Still one of my favorite cars. You just don't see em anymore. I see CRX's and EF's more than those which in just weird. Covid and JDM tax are ruining the game for sure! I miss the deals on Hondas!
Aw maaaaan, I ain't seen an EG around my neighbourhood in about a year. They literally have all rusted away.
...and as for my EF -- which is stored for the winter now -- it seems like EVERY time I'm out in it, somebody yells in amazement. The teenagers can't even identify it now. They've never seen one besides mine. It's both flattering and depressing at the same time. This town used to be filled with EFs, EGs, and EKs, man...

Looks great and as always I love the clear explanations and the way we just have a little chat about it in your videos, you make it look really easy! Im a sucker for the colour too. In the UK the govt scrappage scheme (trade in your car for £2000 against a new crap one) had people bin so many for this era of cars, those that survived and in shape like this are mad money to what they were ten years ago. 'Covid tax' as you described it also now added on top and certain models (like the CRX) were here but anything early 90s are rarer than hens teeth on the road.

I swear I knew I guy in Utah that had this exact car. Same color, with the b swap and I even sold him a double din console for it and this car has a double din. It can’t be but damn it’s identical condition and everything.

They're pretty available usually. Super clean equals more money unless you get lucky. I don't look for cars for people, just don't have the time. But keep an eye on your local Facebook marketplace and OfferUp. I seen a handful in our area pretty frequently.
