Not sure if you still use it or not, but it would be cool to see an video showing it after 6 months of use. Everybody does a video on using it for the first time but you barely see people make an update video on how it works a couple months later. Just to know if anything wears out or anything. Great video :)
That's not a bad idea, I've had mine for a few years now and it still works perfectly. The only thing I'd say is that the refractory coating may need to be reapplied. But that's more from me moving the forge and damaging the lining than it wearing out!
Old video I know but I’m struggling to fit the Regulator to the propane tank, seems like you have an adapter. Where can I get this and what is it called??
I've just bought the two burner. Can i take the the insulation out and coat the middle section first? Then put it back in as its a long tunnel. Then finish coat say the last 6" each side?
Hey, how are ya, thanks, well done vid, just ordered one few days ago. Question, can the kwool be installed with burner at same time, watched a few and everyone is putting it in after burner is intalled, Thanks peace from Ontario Canada.
@@TheModernMaker , hi there, just did it ealier today, its imposible, its to thick, so I cut it up, coated it, and just stuffed in the pieces, Amazing little thing, im really impressed, thanks brother, peace
Good review but that was refractory powder (satanite) which is certainly not rigidizer. The rigidizer is a red liquid which dries clear and is there to make the lining solid, all that this kit is doing is making the outer edge of the lining solid (ish). I've made a few forges from scratch and this is definitely not safe as those fibers are still in a loose state.
@@waddlesthepenguin9360 The one I bought was under the seller Fervi. Overall I'm very impressed with my anvil, but I know some people haven't had as much luck. Some I've seen have had large soft spots on the face, so it seems like luck of the draw.
Thanks for the review, it was really helpful.
Thanks for the video I just got my double burner vision of that forge in today! Can’t wait to get started ^^
Glad you liked it, good luck!

I just got mine. The packaging was awful but it came very fast. Missing hose clamps and the regulator. Probably from the gaping hole in the box
Great review, just got mine delivered. Where did you get your anvil from, seems to be difficult to source a decent one in the UK

I can't see why that would be a problem! I just followed the instructions that came with it.

thanks for the review ive decided im gunna buy this forge, did you have to pay any handling fee / border fees when you bought this
I purchased through eBay, and didn't encounter any other fees
How much propane does it take to complete a project? Examples?
Cool!
Will it get up to forge welding temp
I've done a few forge welds with mine so far, so yes it can!
Looks great! How long does a propane tank last you with this?
So far I've probably had about 40 hours out of a 19kg bottle and haven't ran out yet!

Hi, how are you finding the anvil? Is it worth it?........NVM just found the vid on the anvil lol
No worries, loving the combination of the anvil and forge!
@@TheModernMaker is that the anvil on Amazon by VEVOR? I heard they were scammers but that actually looks really good

I just use a rocket stove made from pumicecrete for less than a dollar.
Fueling and temperature control might be a hassle, but if it works for you I don't see why you should change.
15 minutes???
