    I’m 41 and have them. The right side is more visible. Absolutely hate them. The more I focus on them the uglier I feel. It makes me look old and tired. On days that I’m well hydrated it’s less noticeable.

    I never had that line until I had a "Certified licensed profressional" tell me I needed Juvaderm under my eyes, within 2 months - I had lines and bags under my eyes!!!! I've done everything to help remedy it. It's been 8 years and I STILL have those bags from Juvederm. Just because someone is a licensed certified professional DOES NOT MEAN they won't harm you. and there is ABSOLUTELY no accountability in beauty treatments, they charge a fortune and it is all experiemtnal and at our own risk. I found that out the hard way. Can't wait to try some of the things you've done

    I have this same issue as you with mid cheek lines. I have been doing combination of things. One of them is facial cupping along the lines and also microneedling along the lines at home. I also just bought a Omnilux LED mask and been using it the last week everyday. I also changed my skincare and use Vit C and Tretinoin. Im also 52yrs old and noticed these lines in the last few years. Have also thought about surgery to lift the malar fat pads called a cheek lift/mid face lift. I have noticed improvements with the cupping and microneedling so might try this a bit longer and see how this goes.

    Your before & afters are fabulous. Love all the education on home radio frequency. I’ve been hearing that regular injections of filler is now being discouraged as the HA filler isn’t being reabsorbed by the body as expected.
    I had PRF in the under eye /tear trough area. The results were lovely & lasted 2years.
    Great point that each provider specializes in their technique of choice. Finding an expert is crucial if you’re considering in-office treatments. I’m trying to decide if should try another PRF treatment or a conservative amount of fat transfer for my undereyes … I naturally have deep hollows that are very aging. Thanks for this great video 🎉

    I wouldn't go with fat transfer. It's permanent, so if you don't like the results, you're stuck with them. I think sculpra is a better option for a long lasting natural look.

    I think your results are great! I own the newa for two years now, but I’m not consistent with it, I’m watching ALL of your videos, I still haven’t gotten to one where you say how often you do RF, is it everyday? I use tretinoin and have seen some results on ny texture and my acne, but with the peeling and sensitivity for two years, I think I’m done with it, I think it has done more damage to my marionette lines, I see them more deep now than before starting tretinoin, it could be the daily peeling, two years on the same strength and the peeling doesn’t stop. I will work on my marionette lines with the newa and may be use another type of retinoid and more sparingly. I totally trust your advice that’s why I subscribed to your channel and will be watching all your videos.
    I trust Clare Johnston too, very professional, but I don’t trust or like Andrea Suárez, or “Dr. Dray” as she calls herself, I started watching her videos years ago and she was a very unstable and looked like she had some kind of problems, besides being skeletal, (not trying to be nasty here) this is just what I saw on her, if you watch her early videos, in one she was hating sephora and in the next one she loved it, she had a lot of negativity and bad vibes going on, her skin color was pretty bad also, and she gets a lot of sponsors and makes commercials about detergent and tea. I couldn’t watch her videos anymore.
    Thank you for being so professional, I trust your advice and I will never stop saying how much I like your makeup.
    Thank you so much and let us know how many days a week you do your Newa.

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  9 месяцев назад

      Hello! For the Newa, go in 5 times a week the first month, then 2-3 times a week after that. I use RF about 2-3 times a week. No more than 3. Regarding Tret, what strength are you on?. The constant peeling is not good. I suggest, using an over the counter Retinol, and cut back on the Tret 1x a week. Until we get your skin where it isn't peeling any longer. Are you doing the Tret sandwich style? Meaning over your moisturizer?

And like beyond 50 skin I have liked PRF, 3rd treatment toDAY!, and I feel good about using my own blood (albeit aged blood, ha ha) rather than fillers. I'm also willing to wait for results over time rather than going for the quick fix. I'm curious Jody, why this latest video doesn't show use of Lumo. It seems like that is more of a one stop shop for EMS and RF? (in fact, I got one after watching yours and others videos. I'm new to it, not liking how it's difficult to get glide and a little worried about some funny pains in jaw (leftover wires from jaw surgery may be affected by the RF). But to sum it up, I'm LIKING PRF, and wondering about Lumo. THANKS!!

    Great video, please can you give your thoughts on radio frequency VS micro needling. Which one is better for collagen induction, or are they the same in terms of efficacy? All the information online talks about how much better RF micro needling is to normal micro needling, but no one compares them separately. I don't want to have a million devices that I can’t keep up with, trying to keep it simple (topicals for surface level, one device for the deeper level dermis and one device for muscle layer… Not sure what can be done to retain bone structure). Also, is the EMS worth it? Seems like there is little scientific research on EMS and you never did a follow up on the device... can it really help prevent Jowls? Thanks. I just turned 40 and found out that contrary to popular belief ‘black does in actual fact crack' and I'm horrified! lol

      Hello! I'm doing a video comparing at-home RF and the Morpheaus 8 (Rf+microneedling) soon. Yes, the EMS works good for jowls, but RF has better results for more mature signs of aging. Also, many RF devices are incorporating EMS into the RF device because of the power of the two technologies together. I find the Medicube to be the most powerful EMS device out there but it doesn't have RF. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching!

    My autologous facial fat transfer at 69 was a fail. Yes, it looked amazing at 6 weeks, but then was totally gone in 3 months & it affected the look of my FL the board certified PS did 2 yrs prior. He transferred 60cc’s! of fat to my face when doing my abdominal liposuction. The PS is good, but metabolism is individualistic. The ab lipo was very good BUT 2 months later had an umbilical small hernia. Fat & fibrosis collected around the herniated area over the next 4 yrs. Last month (Jan ‘24) I had surgery to correct the hernia. Surgeon said she removed voluminous fat in the umbilical area & strengthened my abs a little when doing the repair. Her technique was great as I’m 5 wks out in my 6 wk recovery. 😊 But it was & is A LOT to go through. Surgeon told me my abdomen muscles were weak & that the ab lipo probably did weaken an already weak area that couldn’t tolerate the stress of liposuction. SO, I share this to let others know that this can happen b/c I sure didn’t know it could! And all b/c I needed facial fat volume. 😂 I had 4 vials of Sculptra last year & it has helped some but not enough. I have just started using the NEWA Plus with my Clareblend Mini microcurrent to decrease jowling & increase collagen b/c FL was almost 7 yrs ago now & gravity w/time marches on! lol.
