Will be doing this very soon with the same ARM pipes, complete exhaust already removed as engine/transmisson just went back in. I wasn't looking forward to the reconnection at turbo ends since it's so tight there, but thank you for the tips on starting there and without the longer pipe's 02 👍. Looking forward to it now, thanks 🙌. Wondering though if there's a way to clear the CEL code and keep it from re-triggering.
No problem, you can clear the CEL With BM3, and also the longer downpipes that’s not weld to the flange rattles, make sure you find a way to secured it so you don’t have that problem.
@@Jbpgarage very good to know, thank you. Did you see any reason why it can't be welded on? I could weld it on, either small tacks for securement that allow for removal if that necessary to do that way, or a more complete bead. Also on the long pipe, did you install it without either 02 sensor, or just without one of the two? I'm starting with the shorter pipe now.
@@Personalized_Workshop I believe it wasn’t welded on for perfect fitment, I won’t weld it tell after installation. I install all of my O2 sensors you need them, if you are going to be running a tune you can clear the CEL.
I have a question I get my downpipe installed yesterday and I noticed that their is a noticeable vibration when the car is idle at a stop but the vibration is there for like 2 sec and goes away about after about 4-6 sec it comes back and goes away in 2 sec and repeat until I start to apply gas and start to move and then it goes away
Yeah it’s a common problem with this downpipes, the longer one is not connected to the flange so they vibrate. You are supposed to install a o ring that comes in the kit, or you can have it spot welded.
@Barry.R I want with the VRSF single mids, it’s a lot quieter but deeper sound. When installing don’t forget to install the flange o ring, on the one that it’s not welded, this keeps it from making noise.
I feel like mine is going to be 5-6 hour because the bolt looks like they are rusted thanks to the weather here in canada also how much louder would you say it gets because I know videos don’t do it justice
just got a f82 m4 never have installed a downpipe on a s55 before you think it will be ok for me to install?
If you have the tools it’s pretty straightforward.

What size are your downpipes 3 or 3.5inch?
Great video
3” to 4” resonators.
Since it’s resonated, but still catless, do you get the bad smell catless downpipes normally produce?
Not in the car with windows up, a little bit outside.
@@Jbpgarage thanks for the insight. I’m probably getting these to mate with my AA single midpipe

Do you use new gasket ring between turbo / downpipe and downpipe / exhaust?
No I didn’t, my where still good. My car never see rain or snow, so no rust.
Good stuff! Do you need to flash to stage 2 now?
It’s recommended, but I am going to keep it on stage 1 for now and see how I like it.
@@Jbpgaragehey! Im installing the same Arm Motorsport resonanted DP HOW U LIKE IT WITH STAGE 1?
@@MXSTHATEDTREYFXE it’s great, my only complain is, it rattles .
Are those catted or catless? And did you pop a check engine light?
Resonated catless, I did get a CEL, but I am on BM3.
Love the content as always!
Thanks, appreciate it!
How many hours did it take any tips or short cut
It’s pretty straight forward, shouldn’t take more than 4 hours. It helps if the car has no rust, if it does spray it with some WD the night before.

@@billnguyen9337 it’s loud, and I love it 😂, just a little bit of drone at 2k rpm’s .
Did you have any issues with passing the Emissions Inspection?
I am due next month, I will probably make a video on the whole process. I think it really depends on where you take your car.
Stock exhaust?
M performance exhaust.
So what do you do when its inspection time lol
For me, I don’t mind swapping it every 2 years.
Crankhub done?
Yes 👍🏾!
