Cool cool just witnessed someone 2 shot a dragon i put 50 mins of blood sweat and tears into tht fight i swear i had the 1000 year old stare😂

My pawns weren't set up well because I was just wandering leveling vocations, so I took an arbalest shot. But yeah. Just straight beat it to death after that.
my first ever dragon fight at level 15 ended with dragon jumping into the lake... no loot

Just a heads up:
If you are on the Ballista you can use "Help Me!" command to have your Pawns operate the other parts of the Balista so you can just aim and shoot in your control

That's weird. Everytime I spammed "Help Me!" with my Pawns bearby they operate the vertical and horizontal aiming wheels so I can just aim and shoot with my controller
For me just holding a direction that requires someone on that control will make them use the part.
You dont need to use Help me they will assist u whatever
@@leonidas94140 I say use "Help Me" because it makes them rush to you if they have a behavior to run off and do other shit depending on the Pawn's learned behavior lmao

My fear abaut the drakes is not that they can beat you a** is that they can infect your pawn with the dragon plage and make your pawn nuke a town

I think any time your pawn dies and resummoned, they are cured.
Also towns respawn after seven days sleep
@@Star-Status- ??? You mean just shop owners or quest givers too? Everything I've seen online says important NPCs to not come back without wake stones.

This is... Ridiculous... For one, your pawns will man all the gears for the ballista if you take the gunner position. Two, one ballista will do all that work.
Bro, when i reached here, A cyclops is fighting with Drake 😭. When i hit them, both starts attacking me.

Glad to see this! I shot the dragon with that first ballista then got nuked and assumed it just wasn’t my time. I didn’t realize you could shoot the other one at it as well. Thanks!
Thank you for that advice, I kept getting my ass kicked a lot as a Warrior by the Main Quest dragon on the top of the tower. I guess either this or going to that merchant within Vermund are the only options that isn’t tedious.
Drakes are the biggest cowards in the game, all they do is run away
No they will Shooting a Meteor in your face when they are 1/4 health
It oneshots your entire Party And they Spam it xD its anoying af

Yeah it annoying when at low HP he spam meteor and wipe my pawn out I manage kill it at cost of my HP cap reduce to lowest point and run out of potion then it night skeleton hob goblin and wolf chase me entire night.. i only survive when I fell into brine and it teleport me away from those monster@@r3n4rdx61
Closest i've gotten so far was getting him down to 1 health bar as sorcerer. Didn't damage him enough though. I was lv 36 at the time. I'll try again in a few more levels
So I travelled here by means of the son you help to get the archers mastery. Once complete a random npc came to me for help to enter a dungeon, which lead me to the drake, many trolls, ogres and cyclops later….the drake, no point of return, almost died. Wildest adventure yet. Then it lead me to the sphinx, was not prepared for all of this haha.

There is a line of dialogue here that indicates one of the Pawns have dragon's plague... Zangief. When I here that shit I instantly kill them.

I tried using a ballista to take down a griffin, it dive bombed me and knocked me off the tower, killing me. The problem with ballista is getting the creature NEAR one to use it. There are usually a horde of enemies surrounding it you have to kill before you can use it.
Thats badass the first time i shot one i got hit with the beam thing and then drake flew up there and killed me im gona try this next time
So I just did it with one arrow from far far away the second blister that you were doing cuz he destroyed the first one and I saved but I couldn't go back and I wasn't going all the way back to the last end and I tried it with the further ballista one arrow one ballista shot killed him
You know of you just get on the back of the ballista your pawns will do the rest
Just use thief with frost daggers clinging on hit the heart rapidly down goes fraiser
I’m trying to farm the drake next to Harve, but I’ve only managed to kill it once. After it takes three bars of damage it flys off. I tried targeting the wings and staggering it, and even the one time I killed it I just got lucky with an arc of might.
Save and quit to main screen load back in
Met a Drake in Vernworth, got him down to about 50% HP and he flew away. Trolling me with that Dragon Plague. Reloaded my save file, took a while but it either despawn or flew away.
I shot the drake thinking one shot did it, nope, he exploded me right after, but also, you dont have to use the sides to aim the ballista, can do it all from the trigger part on the top....
Na...thats not how this works for me. One direct hit puts down 1 healthbar from 5. He is killiing off the balistas and still has 3 bars left... :(

Wtf I shot the 1 fighting the Ogre in the ancient battlegrounds multiple times and it wasn't near dead.
I tried fighting the Harve village Drake a few times, each time it killed me and my pawns within seconds with it fire breath. Is there a ballista near Harve village?
I did this with the first Balista not sure how I did ti but I kileld the dragon from down there, I think i got lucky on the shot, I was surprise i could do that from far away and with how my eye is, it hard tos ee how I end up kill it form the top i was happy :D
Only after my pawns were dead did i run to find the ballistic lmao have to go back now to kill it
Only time IV beaten a dragon is when a team of thos op adventures came across one and we all attacked it did alot of damage quickly

I hate this drake. I'm only lvl 20 and seeing some of the fights against drakes online tell me that even twice as high level homies can get whooped near as easily as I did. So thanks for the help! Got him after a couple tries. He noticed me when I emerged from the hole near the second ballista after the first time.

So you get more XP for using the ballista? I only got 8k xp after one shotting him with a Magik Archer. I was the same level as your char the time as well
I only got 8k xp useing ballista to, I asume xp boost items? if there are any.
I’m pretty sure it’s the bow it looks like Medusa’s spellbow which grants extra xp for killing enemies.
That's easy. Use big sword, see big damage, brain go happy.
Honestly I just kill them in less time it took you to do that. I have a high level sorcerer

I have managed to kill 2 sor far but the third one i was happy that it flew away because a Stupid griffin decided to crash the party i was in the area heading towards the bakbahtal area just steaight shear panic

I know an easier method that’s only two words. Martyr’s Bolt
fun for farming. prefer to just fight them the rest of the time. Martyrs Bolt is just.... not sporting

have my pawn use Celestial Paean and spam the Blades of Pyre and Draw & Quarter
Edit - use formless faint so that you don't take dmg from Blades of Pyre

I did this method about a week ago and so far he hasn’t respawned.

I used the very end Ballista on the castle walls, it one shotted it, ran down to the battlegrounds and picked up the loot.
The first one he used one shitted it for me. I just fully charged it and it killed in one hit
Why did you use two separate launchers? Couldn’t you use the same one again for the second shot?

I tried it once and after the first shoot the dragon didnt even moved, he just said f u summoned some sort of lightning above my head and obeshotted the ballista then a visitedme and stepped on myhead 😂

thanks so much, fist drake kill at lv25, just switched to spearhand anf havent got the abilities to tackle a big foe.
But be careful, my main pawn szood in front of the ballista and the arrow hit her, the resulting explosion eradicating my whole party.
However, managed to go to the second ballista abd finish the drake. only 7.8k xp though.
I actually fired the first ran straight to second 😅 and he did magic on me destroying the second, Had to wait a bit and he went back to start point and could shoot first again for kill.

How is it clickbait if it clearly shows it works in the video? You just had to have done something wrong or had bad luck. Even something as simple as hitting a different spot on the dragon can result in a different outcome so it makes sense that it might take more than a few tries.

I hit it in the back between it's wings, then as soon as I had done that pulled out the game and loaded up again. Drake was still chilling out and I hit him again with the balista and got the kill
Only got 7.5k xp though, still cannot work out how op got 29k xp

I chose the opposite order, but got only 7500 XP for killing the dragon. Not that hard with the ballistas.
He got 30k exp because he use the medusan spellbow that will make you get 4x exp for every kills
I defeated this dragon the same way 2 shots and he was dead.
Haven't been able to get him to land by the first balista like dude in the video did. Been at it for 2 hours now 🤷
