Oh, that figures. I did this at another nearby spot except I only launched two rocks. I tried looking for a third, or even an explosive barrel, but then I thought "well two rocks didn't do anything, clearly I'm wasting my time here" and left.
Thank you for this tip. I was at the spot last night, the daggers was pinging for a chest near by, but I could not see it. Appreciate you lending me this "bolt cutter" hahahaha.
@@sanzau8669 I visited two more catapults. One cleared a small space with a chest (for one wakestone shard); another cleared a path (might the one you mentioned). All player: If you see a functioning catapult, use it.
@@Galamoth06 same bro, even walked to the other rocks and said "weird. Why so many rocks for something only hitting a wall.... Maybe a future quest?" 😭
An less I am mistaken or we as a community haven’t found it as of yet there is no fire sword in the game only at two-handed and one handed fire mace There is three (5 if you count the ones that poison but it doesn’t rightly say it’s an elemental And if you are using the thief skill ) different elemental types on daggers Three different elemental types on mace”s this is counting both one-handed and two-handed One frost sword one-handed 3 on Mystic spare hand 2 or 3 on magic archer One mace specifically for skeletons another mace specifically for minotaur Two or three for arch staff Two or three for staff And one 2 handed hammer that dose lighting Am I missing anything?
@@soulstar4268 I have already included that mace like I said there is no fire sword in the game one handed or 2 handed I’ll get more technical. There is no weapon that has the fire element on it. That does any slashing or stabbing damage. That is a sword
I'm not sure. I didn't pay that close attention but if so I imagine it might be because they wished for you to pair it with mages abilities. They often set my sword on fire for me.
Japanese devs have a hard-on for hiding stuff like this in rpgs. I'm not against it but it would be nice if an npc gave you a clue about it instead of just randomly trying stuff out.
No BS, and quality content. Much appreciated.
Thanks for watching!
all the elemental weapons are around here.. thats sword, that staff, those fire twin blades and those arc knifes

You can use 3 rocks or one explosive barrel, those are in the tower beside the catapul
The trebuchet mechanic is super obscure. I only know of one other place it's used and that only nets you a Wakestone Shard and a Seekers Token.
For me, the animation won't play out. It's broken, it won't hit the rocks.

Did you know that the other side there is other catapult that will clear the way that’s blocking the way from this side

Now that's hidden.
Well done
the shop in elven village sells that, it's easier to buy there
This is different. The elven shop is staff of lion lord, more powerfull i think.
@@FELIPEGOMES-s8s The shop sells it for sure.
Nice to know. Seen this on my playthrough and thought it was a weird placement after launching 2 rocks and nothing happening.
Lol same here. I thought I was being clever, but after the second rock I went "oh, I guess this doesn't do anything after all" and just walked away.

good job finding it 🤓
I didn't know you could actually use a catapult in DD2
Anyway, i've boght that staff in the elven village
Excellent Walkthrough 😊
Thank you 👍

2 handed fire hammer
