Bird was wearing a back brace in this game and had an injured thigh! He was supposed to be a scratch this game. He's moving around like an 80 year old man, but still dominated. What modern day player today, would play if they had his broken back and an injured thigh?? Nobody. Great reaction bro. Perhaps you can react to Bird's 48 point game against these same Blazers back when he was young and healthy, and hits the most ridiculous buzzer beater ever seen to ice the game.
I’ve always said Bird is a hybrid of Jokic and Luka but shoots like KD at 50/40/90. He’s bigger and better in the post than Luka but smaller and more guard like in terms of running off screens than Jokic. Except better defensively than either
in todays rules most of the hits would have been fouls, back in the days, those werent fouls, you didnt even notice.... although you did notice. the rule changes came later in the 90s :)
Definitely Larry Legend..I hated Larry only cuz he was THAT GOOD..and not on our team..😂..he was money...against that defense.. imagine in todays so called defense..Bird would destroy em.. And next video.. Check out CHARLES BARKLEY or Hakeem olajuwon.. definitely a hard center to guard..only one center took on him and Ralph Sampson (twin towers of the rockers ) and beat them..older Kareem..my all time favorite center ..
Check out Larrys 60 point game against atlanta Hawks and dominique wilkins, dom was killing it and he was far more athletic than Larry, but the fourth quarter shootout of that game between Larry and Dominique was legendary - they both played like it was their last game.
Imagine Lebron having his jersey held or being checked. Those weren't fouls back then. And flopping wouldn't do no good for him. Unless he was brought up in that time, he wouldn't be able to handle it. And on the other side if it were today's rules, Larry wouldn't have to deal with all of that making him even better. Athleticism doesn't win against Larry Bird. He's proven that time and time again.
RIP Reggie Lewis
Greatest small forward of all time
Nobody could stop Larry.. even when he was hurt.. and he played hurt since 1985. Larry in his hey day.. unstoppable.

I got you Larry legend 🥶
@@YTdeonte Yes do it.
Larry Legend
Bird ☘
LARRY LEGEND
When Larry Bird had the game where he got 60 points, only one shot was a 3 the rest were two's.
Good reaction, good comments, and minimal stoppage of video. Subscribe.
No doubt. Larry Legend.
Facts truly underrated
Bird gave the game of basketball everything he had and it just wore his body to shreds. His determination and will to win almost unmatched.
Notice how there aren't fouls called just because someone got touched... big difference in the physicality of the game.
That shot tho

1:54 i thought that I heard a whistle
Jokic eats LeBron alive right now, so no question Larry legend would too

Facts LeBron uses to much athleticism
Larry used pure skill
In today game he would be way more effective
Recommendation - Bird is the word - 15 minutes of Larry Legend. That's the stuff.
@@robinmahan8814 I got you
Lol Jokic reminds me of Bird just not quite as good.
