Thanks for doing this video! After growing up in Illinois, I didn’t realise until I lived on both coasts how so very ignored most of the “flyover states“ are!
It does seem like all the flyover States are just linked together and ignored... Which is how they got the name flyover States....
Looks like a great place to live. All the best from Stonehenge and surrounding area.
We have certainly enjoyed it! Maybe not quite an picturesque as Stonehenge area though!

@@SchaeferFamilyAdventure That's wonderful! I live nestled between Stonehenge, and Glastonbury Tor, which I can see from my window. Glastonbury is also known as Avalon, with The Lady of the Lake, and Camelot, home of King Arthur.
One of our favourite songs about Ohio is from a Texas-based group called Bowling for Soup. A great lyric in it is “there’s nothing wrong with Ohio, except the snow and the rain”… The name of the song is “Come Back to Texas”😂😂😂. Of course, we live in Texas! My favourite line in the song is “the Mexican food sucks north of here anyway”. And let’s be honest, it does. Although, not as badly as Mexican food in Britain! 😝😝😝

We don't have many Mexicans in Britain so we don't know what authentic Mexican food tastes like, lol!
@@ians3586 How much Mexican food did you and Dara try in the UK? It can't all be bad!
@@jillhobson6128 Obviously not much, and the food in Britain is way healthier and fresher too.
@@jillhobson6128 probably not enough but we know that Britain has the best Indian food so that's our "go to" cuisine when we want something more exotic than British food. We also enjoyed Sri Lankan last time we were there.
Based on your description I think I’d love to live in Ohio, I especially like a place with a low cost of living and natural beauty.👍👍

I would absolutely love to visit Amish country… To look at the furniture and eat the food!😋
But still expect flushing toilets and electric lights?
@@lewilewis3944 I can manage without electric lights, but flushing toilets would be nice. I think a lot of Amish buildings have those these days.
Some Amish even have electricity. It just depends on the community rules. Definitely a beautiful and enjoyable community to visit.

Hiya. Oooh, you've done it now, Matthew. Because you know, of course, that NOW you've got to make a video "Five Things We HATE About Ohio"? I think it's a YT tradition or even a regulation. To be fair, people in Ohio mostly know the five worst things (or more...haha) about their state. We'll see what happens, but I don't think we'll be facing too much backlash yet.
If we do leave the country, perhaps a nice tropical location? The cold in Ohio today is far to obtrusive.
I think Matthew needs to get people from the University of Michigan to talk about things they hate about Ohio 😂😂.
