    This video :
    Leah Remini's biography in the cult. Leah discusses with ABC 20/20 her history in Scientology and even her journey in and out of the Sea Org as staff.
    Leah was a prized member of the cult used for commercials and promotions.
    Due to internal insanity she was targeted severely at Tom Cruise's wedding for asking a simple question : "Where is Shelly?"
    Reports were written up on her, resulting in 300 hours of confessional security checking in Clearwater. I explain that more here ~~

    I can’t believe that a Science fiction author creates a completely ridiculous new religion making people do insane things, and people still think “oh yeah this sounds legit”. Hubbard must have been laughing his butt off before he died. Good for her for telling her story. She’s very brave to do so.

      I agree, she's so brave. Knowing that the "church" would say and do pretty much anything they can get away with to ruin her career and her life as well as the criticism from "normal" people who can't understand how anyone could go along with something so seemingly silly. I love that she basically said 'screw it, it has to be done and I have a platform I'm going to use to get this out there to the masses'. Incredibly courageous, amazing woman! Personally, I have loved her since I watched her on King of Queens and this is just the icing on the cake!

      They need the celebrities to draw more people in. Imagine a real "church" of any religion that you're not allowed to question or walk away from. Her celebrity made it much easier for her to leave than for the vast majority stuck in the cult. They have to have a brave plan, like sneaking out at first opportunity in someone's car trunk, etc. They're continuously watched and monitored by the other members. Total Sci-Fi Cult. I'm older and fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend and learn about different Christian denominations through friends or just walking in. I have done some reading on other faiths, but not knowledgeable enough to have a personal opinion or any criticism. Scientology seems more like it steals members' humanity in the name of "saving humanity." They would disagree, of course. To each their own, but it is criminal of this organization to call itself a church. They use their business and its recruits for money. They better hope that either there is no God or that Jesus did truly die for all of our sins....

    I was in Los Angeles and passed a Scientology center. There was a woman standing at the entrance and asked me a few questions. She brought me in and up to the second floor. There were a lot of cubicles with people working at every one of them. She told me that somebody would be with me shortly. I stood there for about 10 minutes and decided to ask someone where they worshipped. She looked at me for a few moments and walked away. I called later and asked why nobody was helping me. The answer was that they were not going to be a fit for me.
    The fact that I am a homosexual is the round about way that they chose to ignore me. Later after I looked into the church of Scientology, I found strange and was glad they didn't want me. All of the articles and shows tell me that they had made the decision to reject me is a huge blessing. Thank you Jesus.

    Leah Remini is a hero in my eyes for exposing these poor excuses for religion and I can so relate, having been basically excommunicated from the Jehovah's Witness religion over 25 yrs ago for being gay. I'm not aloud to see or even talk to my family. I'm not aloud in my parents home, which I'd have to find first because I have no address or even a phone number to contact them, all there choice. I was a mommas boy, and it's ripped my heart out that I can have no contact with them...and this is a religion based on love?! (As long as you don't do anything to go against them!) These are cults, not religions!

      Hi, being disfellowshipped is a discipline to those who have sinned and must reframe from associating with witnesses. Although I don’t like the act, it definitely opens my eyes to those I should be cautious with. I must tell you, speaking from my point of view, I’ve seen families who have disfellowshipped members associate with each other. I have done this and many do as well. I wish you all the best and remember that we have love for all, just not the acts. You are always welcomed to have a relationship with Jehovah God.

      I am a former JW as well. So glad you left, but I’m sorry you lost your family, especially for wanting to be excepted for who you are. The disfellowshipping rule has ripped so many families apart.

    • @colleenrivera4234
      @colleenrivera4234 Год назад +5

      @Stars "disfellowship is a discipline"? I will never understand that. Who are you to take it upon yourself to discipline someone's choice because you don't believe in it? GOD gave EVERYBODY FREEWILL, who are you to take that away? Who are you to judge someone's preference behind closed doors? At the end of the day it's nobody's business what others do or prefer behind closed doors as long as they're consenting adults. I'm a proud Catholic with 5 beautiful girls. 1 is gay 3 are bi. They are not pushed away or looked down on or less loved because they chose their own path. They're bright intelligent capable adults. And it's not up to me or anyone else to judge them for their preferences for their lives. Seriously it's not that deep. I'd much rather see them happy and safe than alone and miserable or in an abusive straight relationship. My daughter's aren't disposable because their preferences are different from mine. My hands are full managing my own life. It's best to leave the JUDGMENTS up to GOD.

    Any "church" that publicly states they're "HAPPY that (anyone) is NO LONGER IN THE 'CHURCH'", should raise MAJOR RED FLAGS!! Not only did they NOT take the moral 'high ground'; they attempted to assonate LR's character. Church should convey LOVE, RESPECT, ACCEPTANCE, FORGIVENESS, & GOD! Anytime you are threatened, punished, held to secrecy, & forced to 'worship' & agree w/ everything the leader says w/o question, it's an indication you are dealing w/ a CULT!! My "scientology" story: my neighbor took off late one night in an ominous looking limo with a driver and a security guy -- looked like secret service or something, definitely not a party. She tells me later that she got a call from the interior design firm she worked for (a huge international company that does big commercial jobs) one night at home saying she would be picked up for the airport in an hour to go on a business trip. They didn't say where or what for. Ends up she was taken to the Scientology ship headquarters off the coast of Florida to do some redecorating of the ship. She said she knew Scientology was a client of the company but had never done work for them but that she also knew Scientology always wanted different, random people from the company to come to their locations and, get this -- never the same person twice. I asked her what she did there and she said it was upholstery, drapery and carpeting for common areas on the ship, like lounges and dining rooms and hallways. She stayed in a hotel on shore then those Sea Corp Scientologists -- you know in the para-navy costumes -- or whatever they are called, ferried her out to the ship on a small boat and back again and that whatever areas she was escorted to on the ship to work were completely cleared of people so she never really saw anyone but the person assigned to work with her and those Sea Corp people. Everything else was handled by the in-house travel people at her huge firm. She said Scientology had been a client of the company where she worked forever and it was always the same drill -- employees seemed to be selected at random to go to one of their locations, never the same employee twice, and they were never told where they were going whether it was ten miles from their office or on a long trip, that the employees basically never saw anything or anyone where they were assigned to work -- so if it was one of those huge buildings that needed new carpeting or something, the areas they went into would have no people at all in them and no signs of what went on there. She said everyone said the same thing -- the spaces would look vacated with just the basic furnishings left in place be they offices, banquet rooms, kitchens, whatever. She said she and her co-workers used to laugh that all the Scientologists must have been "beamed-up" just before they arrived. haha, funny, right?

      She’( and you) are goddam lucky that’s as far as her extent in Scientology goes ,like Leah says and I’ve always said ,first they hate psychologists ,second they can cure your problems for starting at a quarter million dollars ,NO THANKS ,I’d rather pay my counselor 100 an hour or get religious salvation for free at my church ,or talk to a friend or join a support group or do work on myself ,it doesn’t take that kind of money to improve yourself and then if you reoffend which they decide ,then you start all over on that bridge spending the same amount of money all over again ,,,NO WONDER THEY HATE PSYCHIATRISTS,theyed lose all their business if people resorted to therapy ,,,and it didn’t take Leah talking for me to know this ,they lie calling themselves a religion ( in order to get tax exempt status / cha Ching ) ,they won’t allow you to chose your own religion ,Tom Mapothers wife was catholic and didn’t wanna leave that religion and they deemed her a suppressive person and then he blind sided her w a divorce / can’t stand Cruise ,can’t stand Charlie Sheen either ,but at least he has an excuse ,he’s an addict ,what’s Cruises excuse??arrogant to the end of the earth ,he’s wound so tight ,it’s his way or no way ,he’s a know it all 😡and IMO the reason they won’t let a family member talk w a non family member is money ,the non member might influence the member to leave and that’s a loss of $$$$ ,,,,it’s all about the money and you can bet your life they don’t mistreat well know high powered actors like cruise cause he donates multi bling cha Ching ,at least Katie saw the light and left him ,if you and I were a Scientologist and jumped on Oprah’s couch or bullied Matt lauer we’d be massively reprimanded and told to start all over at the bottom of the bridge ,,,cha Ching $$$$$$

    You can tell from Kirstie’s statement that she obviously has never read Leah’s book or listened to an interview of hers. Leah has never said that the belief system of Scientology (which she no longer believes) is evil. Leah always emphasizes how wonderful so many of the people in Scientology are & that it’s the “Church” (the organization) & David Miscavige that are at fault, not the parishioners getting fleeced for all they’re worth & not the Sea Org who dedicate their lives & work 80-100 hours a week for about 20-80¢ an hour while being treated like garbage. She makes it very clear that it’s David Miscavige & the business/organization/mafia of Scientology that are the enemies & not the people or their philosophy/doctrine.
